I have been collection makeup for the past 10 years now. This means that so far I have build up a pretty large collection of the products I consider most beautiful. However, it’s not handy for me to have everything in one cabinet. Especially not when I have to get ready quickly in the morning. To solve that problem I created a drawer next to my desk filled with my daily favourites. This drawer has changed a lot over the past few years, but lately it has been pretty steady. In today’s post I’m going to show you guys what’s in it. So, if you’re interested in finding out which products I love to use for an everyday look, make sure you continue reading!
My daily drawer is divided into three compartments. Roughly I have one compartment for most of my base makeup like foundation, concealers and primers. I have a compartment for my cheek products like blush, bronzer and highlighter. And the last compartment is filled with eye makeup, like shadow, mascara’s and lash curlers. This way it’s easy for me to find what exactly I’m looking for without having to rummage through half of the drawer.
Anyway, let’s talk about what’s inside, starting with the base compartment. Because there is limited space within this compartment I have to be very strict about what gets in and what doesn’t. I narrowed it down to my absolute favourites, starting with two primers. The two primers in here are the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in the pink shade. The other one is the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer. Both are really amazing primers in their own unique way. The Clarins one is more of a creamy, lotion primer while the YSL one is more of a silicone base. As for foundation I have the Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint in my drawer. It’s my absolute favourite these days!
Because concealer doesn’t take in much space, I do have a wide variety of concealers in my complexion compartment. Starting off with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer. I also have the Essence Colour Correcting Concealer in here in the yellow and pink shade, as well as a colour corrector from Becca. In addition to that this compartment also holds the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer, the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and the Lancome Long Lasting Softening Concealer. The last product in this compartment is a finishing powder. It’s the RCMA No Colour Powder. I have depotted it into an old Vichy tub because it’s easier to use that way.
Moving on to the second compartment, the part with all of my eye-products. One of my favourite products in here is the famous Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. I use this literally everyday. I also have a couple of brow products in here, including my favourite Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and a clear Essence brow gel. I also hold my Nars Eyelash Curler in this compartment as well as some mascara’s.
As for mascara I have narrowed it down to the ones I’m currently using. These aren’t necessarily my favourites, but they are not dried out and empty just yet, which is why they are here. The ones I’m using at the moment are the Estée Lauder Sumptuous Infinite Mascara, the YSL Baby Doll Mascara and the Lancome Grandiose Mascara. There’s also an empty bottle of the Chanel Le Dimensions de Chanel mascara in here, but I first want to use up the other three mascara’s before I replace it.
There’s also one thing in this compartment that doesn’t really belong here, but fits the best in this compartment space-wise. It’s the Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter Stick. I forget about it when I store it in my regular collection, so I like to keep it in here to remind myself that I want to use it.
The only thing I don’t keep in this drawer is eyeshadow. I don’t because that would mean that I’d use the same palette over and over again and I just don’t want to get into that phase again. Keeping it in my normal collection makes me more creative.
Having said that let’s tackle the last compartment, the cheek products. Starting off with bronzer, I’ve got the Nars Laguna Bronzer in this drawer as well as the Chanel Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Ensoleillée. These are just the best in the biz for me. As for blush I have my Yves Saint Laurent Blush Volupte Blush in here as well as MAC Dainty, my Dior Splendor 2016 Blush and my beloved Hourglass Ambient Lightning Blush.
Moving on to highlighter this compartment holds a ton of products. I have the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle in here, as well as the Dior Nude Air Luminizer in 001. Aside from that it also holds my Nars Hot Sand Highlighter and the Nars x Man Ray Double Take Highlighter. My Chanel Le Signe Du Lion is in here and so is the Too Faced Love Light Highlighter.
There’s one product in here that belongs with the complexion products but didn’t fit there anymore. Its the MAC Blot Powder. It’s a great and quick alternative to the RCMA No Colour Powder.
All in all I do have a lot of products in my daily favourites drawer. Therefore it’s definitely not like an everyday makeup stash, but more like a drawer with my most opted for makeup products.
That will be it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite everyday products and be sure to let me know which products you love using on a daily basis!
I also depotted my RCMA no colour powder – wish they would change the packaging. I’ve been loving my cream blush palette from Revolution Beauty. Haven’t been able to touch my powder blushes since it arrived!

I wish they’d do that too! It would be so much more convenient! That palette from Revolution sounds amazing too. I do love a good cream blush.
Wat een prachtige producten heb je toch weer! ^_^ Mooie merken!
The Nars Soft Matte concealer is always in my everyday makeup drawers! I actually have my Hourglass blush on rotation at the moment too 🙂
