Skincare has been a pretty big theme on my blog throughout this year. I have gotten more in more into skincare and I try to use better products for my skin type. So far I’ve collected quite a lot of amazing products that work really well for me. But there’s always room for improvement. So, in today’s post I’m going to share some of the skincare products that are still on my wishlist with you guys. So if you’re interested in reading about what’s on my skincare wishlist, make sure you continue reading this post!
Let’s start off with some Chanel skincare. Recently I got into the world of Chanel skincare and I’m definitely loving it. However, there are three more products that I’m definitely eyeing. Starting off with the Chanel L’Huile (€38), which is one of those oil cleansers. Oil cleansers are in my opinion the very best because they aren’t as aggressive to the skin, but they do get the job done really, really well and really quickly. I really want to give this one a proper try!
The next product I really want to try out is the Chanel Eau Douceur (€38), which is a soft cleansing water. I do really like using cleansing waters after removing my makeup or before applying my makeup in the morning. For the longest time I’ve been using Bioderma to get that job done, but I really want to try something new now. Because this is a soft product I think that this would be great for getting the last bits of makeup removed before applying my night cream.
The last Chanel skincare product I really want to try out is the Chanel Le Tonique (€35). This is another toner. It is pretty similar to the Eau Douceur when you look at when you’d be using it in your routine, but I do think that these are two totally different products. I feel like the Le Tonique is more ‘aggressive’ and better for in the morning before putting on your makeup. While the Eau Douceur seems better for nighttime usage. I did say the word aggressive, but I’m not saying that this is a very aggressive toner. In fact they claim that it’s nice and mild, so I’m really interested to give that a try.
Moving on to a couple of eye creams. In the past I did use to use eye cream, but because my eye area is incredibly sensitive I stopped doing so. However, recently I’ve been interested in using one again. I’m not sure which one is going to work for me, which is why there are currently three different ones on my wishlist. The first one is the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (€44). Somehow this one looks like something to me that isn’t going to irritate, but will hydrate the area.
Another option is the Clinique All About Eyes Eye Cream (€39). This one seems to be from the Moisturesurge range, which is a range within Clinique’s collection that has been working really well for me so far. The products from that range have an incredibly nice texture and are amazing to work with.
The last option on the list is the Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream (€26,50). This one I have tried before because I got it in a tester and so far it hasn’t irritated my eye area. I do really like the applicator on this one, I think it work really well and it feels nice on the skin. However, the other two look pretty dang good as well, so I’m not sure what’s the best option to go for.
Moving on to a nice little mask. This is the Origins Hello Calm Relaxing & Hydrating Face Mask with Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil ($28). At the moment most of the masks that I own are masks made for oily and blemished skin. However, I do really enjoy using products that are more hydrating. Somehow this one really spoke to me. I like that it’s hydrating and relaxing at the same time and since I’m a big fan of the Origins skincare range, I’d love to try this product!
Next is the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (€32). This is a makeup removing balm that has been pretty popular for years now. It seems like a very easy and handy product to remove your makeup with. I have tried something very similar to this, but I haven’t tried the real deal yet. Can’t wait to give it a try sometime soon!
The last product on my skincare wishlist is the Biotherm Skin Best Liquid Glow Face Oil (€39). I have never used a face oil before and because I have oily skin that might not sound like the best idea in the whole wide world. However, my theory is that oily skin gets oily because it thinks that it’s lacking oil. It’s overcompensating. When you put oil on it yourself, it will notice that there’s enough and it will stop overcompensating. Aside from that I just think this one looks really good and the claims sound interesting!
And that concludes today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading about what’s on my skincare wishlist and be sure to let me know which products you’d recommend to me!
