Guilty pleasures, I think everybody has some, but sometimes they’re a little too embarrassing to talk about. Today I’m going to talk about them anyway, I’m going to share my winter guilty pleasures. So, without blabbering too much about it, let’s just dive into the post and find out what they are, shall we?
1. Watching bad teenage high school movies all day long
Okay this one might seem very strange but I absolutely love watching those terribly bad acted movies about high schools. Netflix is full of them and I can’t get enough of them. And when I say bad movies I’m talking about movies like Noami & Elys No Kiss List and The DUFF.
2. Drinking hot chocolate with a ton of whipped cream
Drinking hot chocolate isn’t necessarily a guilty pleasure, but the amount of whipped cream I add to it is kinda embarrasing. I know it’s terribly unhealthy, but you know, I sometimes just don’t care about that at all. And by the way, when I’m talking lot’s of whipped cream I mean one third of the cup is filled with whipped cream and I’ll possibly add another layer when I finish the layer of cream that was already in there.
3. Pyjama day, all day, every day
I might do this all year round, I might not, but I like to stay in my pyjamas as much as possible. Changing into actual pants is the last thing I do before I leave home and changing back into them is the first thing I do when I get home. I just think it’s way more comfortable than those annoying high-waisted skinny jeans that make it feel like it’s hard to breath and especially during the winter, comfort is key for me.
4. Sweater on sweater
Because I’m someone who’s pretty much always cold, I sometimes like to wear multiple sweaters (and socks) on top of each other. I’d wear a cami, a shirt, a sweater and a hoodie and then I’ll still feel the need to throw a blanket around my body because I still feel cold. It looks absolutely horrible, but it is definitely super comfortable!
5. Staying in bed as long as possible
I feel like I’m going to come across  so lazy thanks to this post, but trust me I’m quite a busy bee. But if I have the chance, I’ll stay in bed as much as possible. It’s kinda the same thing as the pyjama guilty pleasure. I’ll stay in bed until I really have to go and when I come home I usually go back in bed and do my homework there. I mean my sit behind a desk and do homework feeling rather uncomfortable than sitting in your bed and doing your homework.
And that concludes today’s post. I hope I’m not coming across as a super lazy person thanks to this, but anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what your ultimate winter guilty pleasure is!
XOXO, Nicole.
Jaaa allemaal xD In je pyjama, nooit meer het bed uit, liters chocolademelk, bussen slagroom. That’s the good life xD
