I write about a lot of makeup on my beautyblog and I keep mentioning hundreds of products I like, but I can’t use all of them at once right? Therefore I decided it’d be fun to show you guys the top 6 most used products. The products I use such a lot that they’re kinda my holy grail products. If you’re interested in finding out which products I’m talking about, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with one of my current favourite products: my MAC Mineralize Moisture foundation. I bought it from a friend who bought it in a shade too light and I’m really glad I did. It really changed my face makeup game. I always struggled with my foundation looking weird and blotchy on my nose and in between my brows at the end of the day, but thanks to this little beauty that’s all history now.
Even though I don’t need the moisture because of my oily skin, I do really like the way this foundation looks on my skin. It’s super flawless, even and it’s really easy to apply. The finish is also really pretty, it’s dewy, but not too dewy. I am in love with it!
Onto brows. The Maybelline Brow Satin has been my holy grail brow product ever since I bought it back in the summer of 2015 in the UK. I wanted to try it for such a long time and then I finally decided to just buy it and give it a go. Well, I’m really glad I did since this is about the third or fourth one I’m using.
The thing I love so much about this brow product is that it’s fool proof. You start off with filling in your brows with the pencil side. It’s a very nice waxy pencil but not too waxy. It works really precisely and easily. I like it a lot. When that’s done I go through my brows with a spooly and then I go over to the other side, the side with the powder and put that in my brows to soften the look. When that’s done, you’re brows can’t be anything but on fleek. I’m not kidding!
This product might not come as a surprise either, but I also really love the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. I’ve been using it for years and I’ve already gone through two jars of it. Out of all cream shadows I have ever tried (and just so you know, I’ve tried a lot of them) this is just the best.
It’s super long wearing, it survives cycling through the rain and it adds a really pretty effect to the shadows you put on top of it. I really can’t do an eyeshadow look without this amazing product. I love it to death!
My favourite makeup product is definitely eyeshadow and therefore I have quite a lot of eyeshadow, especially palettes. Even though I do like switching up between the ones I have, I always end up grabbing this Stila Eyes Are The Window palette in Soul. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it online and I’m still as in love with it as I was back then.
I think this is the most incredible eyeshadow palette ever because it has everything in it. You can use it to make a very soft and basic look, you can use it to create a darker smokey look but you can also use it to get a bit of both worlds. It’s just incredible and I highly recommend giving it a try!
Ever since I first tried the Benefit They’re Real mascara I can’t live without it anymore. I do think that it’s quite expensive, so I really don’t want to run out of it and repurchase it, but it’s just too brilliant not to repurchase over and over again.
I’ve literally never seen such a gorgeous mascara. From the packaging to the brush to the formula to the effect it adds to the lashes, this is the most amazing mascara this world has ever seen. I can’t rave enough about it. It’s so volumising but separating at the same time and it’s so intense black. I absolutely love it!
The very last product is one you probably all know already: MAC Peach Blossom. I wear it nearly ever single day and I have been wearing it nearly every single day for a long time right now. I just think it’s the prettiest most amazing and versatile lip colour in this world and I wouldn’t want to live without it anymore.
And that is everything for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which products you use most often!
XOXO, Nicole.
