Last week I already reviewed the brush that came in this really pretty Tarte blush set and one of the other blushes called Genius. Today it’s time to review the second blush out of this set. It’s called Royal and it’s a gorgeous natural blush shade. If you’re curious to find out what it’s like, make sure you continue reading!
First things first: packaging. In the last review I already told you guys that these blushes from this holiday set are slightly smaller than the regular blushes and I added a whole calculation in which I calculated if it was actually a better deal buying this set than buying the full size blushes. So I’m not going to do that today, what I am going to tell you is what I think of the packaging!
The packaging is in the same shade as the blush. Because this is a brownish pink colour, the packaging is so to. On top of the lid Tarte added a funky coloured sticker with the logo to make it look somewhat more fun and I like that about it.
Like I said, the blush I’m reviewing today is called “Royal”. Royal is a very pretty natural blush colour. In my opinion it’s the most perfect blush colour ever. It’s pink and has a bit of brown to it. It’s very unique and I personally have never seen something that looks like this before.
Like all other Tarte blushes, it has this really pretty pattern printed in it. I don’t really know for sure what it’s supposed to represent, but I like to think it’s a path inside of a bunch of leaves. That probably totally not what it is, but I can’t think of anything else that fits the design better.
The texture of the powder is really nice. It’s just as nice as the texture of the blush I already reviewed. It’s soft, satin like and almost a bit creamy. It’s very nice to work with because it applies so smoothly and it looks really pretty on the skin. Not patchy or blotchy at all.
The pigmentation seems a little less impressive but once applied to the cheeks it just looks absolutely stunning. It’s natural but perfect. It creates the perfect flush for everyday and I love that.
So, I think it’s pretty clear. I really, really like this blush. The colour is absolutely stunning, it’s the perfect natural everyday blush colour and the quality is impressive either. I’m still really glad I decided to buy this set and I can’t wait to review the other two blushes I got!
This Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush is part of their Holiday set which is available here for £34.50.
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of this blush!
