Guys, a month goes by really quick when you’re busy. Like seriously quick. But well, March is over and that means that it’s time for me to share what products have been making its way into my heart throughout the month. And let me tell you: it’s a lot of Lush. That’s no surprise, obviously, but just a little warning before we jump in. Aside from tons of Lush favourites I’ve also fallen in love with some other beauty products that I started using throughout March. Long story short: if you’re interested in finding out what my March favourites are, make sure you continue reading this post!
The first three favourites of the month are all three from the naked skincare range from Lush. A while ago they launched a whole range of naked skincare products and I was really excited to give everything a try. So far I’ve tried three products and I’ve fallen in love with every single one of them.
The first two products are two naked cleansing balms. First off is the Like A Virgin Naked Cleansing Balm. This one is very effective when it comes to removing makeup and at the same time it’s also very hydrating. Like super hydrating.
The other one is the Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm. This one is hydrating as well, but not as much as the Like A Virgin balm. This makes it a bit more suitable for my combination to oily skin type. It’s just as effective and it also leaves my skin feeling super nice and soft. I love how these balms aren’t stripping the skin at all. They just cleanse.
The last naked skincare favourite from Lush is the Amazon Primer Naked Facial Oil. This is one of those solid oils that you can use all over the face in order to hydrate. Normally a facial oil would sound like a nightmare for oily skin, but Lush actually created a couple oils that work great for oily skin types. Including this Amazon Primer. And it’s not just great for hydrating the skin, it actually acts as an amazing primer. It makes the skin feel so soft and the makeup stay on forever.
My next favourite and discovery of the month is the MAC Brow Set Eyebrow Gel. For the longest time brow gel was one of the only products I didn’t feel like was worth splurging on. I was happy with my 2 Euro brow gel and that was it. Until I decided to try the MAC Brow Set. It’s really hard to believe, I know. Especially since it looks so much like the Essence brow gel I used to use. But trust me, this is so much better. It lathers on the exact right amount of gel. It doesn’t make the brow hairs cling together and look crunchy. And in addition to that it also keeps them in place all day long. I love this stuff so much!
Along with the MAC brow gel I fell in love with another Chanel eyeshadow palette. Last month I tried my first Chanel Eyeshadow Palette ever and I loved it. So not long after that I decided to purchase another one, called Mystic Eyes. It’s just as pretty and I love wearing it!
The next favourite is quite an obvious one. It’s the amazing Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation. I have loved Dior for their foundations for years now, but the last couple of launched weren’t my thing. So when I saw this Skin Glow foundation my heart started to beat again. I decided to try it and my lord, this is literally the best foundation ever. From the day it came in the mail I have been using this non stop. I still use it every single day. It’s my go-to product right now.
Another Lush product that has become a favourite of mine is the amazing Lush Aubergine Bath Bomb. I bought this around Valentine’s day and I didn’t feel a big hurry to give it a try. But lord oh lord. When I did give it a try I fell head over heals in love with it. This is by far the prettiest and best smelling bath bomb I have ever tried. It has the amazing 29 High Street scent that I love and it turns your bath water purple with mystic glitter. It’s so super pretty. Everybody needs one of these!
I also fell in love with a bubble bar I bought ages ago. It’s the Naughty Elf Bubble Bar from the holiday collection of 2018 and it looks super cute. I was really obsessed with the way it looked back when it was sale for sale, so I ended up buying two of them. I’m really happy I did because it’s literally the cutest thing ever!
The last Lush favourite is a skincare product. It’s actually just a sample, but that doesn’t mean I can’t love it. Back when I went to the opening of the new Lush store in Den Bosch, I helped to make the Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask and received a sample of it. I’m so mesmerised by it. It works super well for my skin. It’s very hydrating, softening and the smell is just incredible. Gotta love roses!
And that’s pretty much it for my March Favourites post. Thank you guys so much for reading and be sure to let me know which products you’ve been loving throughout March!
