I don’t think it’s a secret that I love the Lush Snow Fairy scent. I mean, I bought a Snow Fairy Shower Gel and a Snow Fairy Body Conditioner back in December and I’m very, very careful with it. It’s pretty much the best scent ever and I’m sure lots of you will agree with me on that statement. Although I’m sure there are also enough of you that despise that scent. Okay, long story short: I have good news. If you can’t get enough of the amazing Snow Fairy scent there’s something you can use all year round. It’s the Mmmelting Marshmellow Moment Luxury Bath Oil. I’m probably very late on this one, everybody knows this already, but it smells exactly like Snow Fairy!!! So I bought it (or two) and today I’m reviewing it. So if you’re interested in finding out what this Snow Fairy scented bath oil is like in the water, make sure you continue reading this post!
In terms of looks the Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Luxury Bath Oil looks pretty simple. It’s just a round little disc that consists out of a pink layer and a yellowy layer. It does kind of remind me of a marshmallow, but not the while ones, the pink and yellow ones from Frisia. It looks cute but rather simple. I like it. In terms of size it’s pretty decent. It’s just a little bit smaller than the Naked Cleansing Balms from Lush, but in terms of weight I feel like they’re about the same.
Because I once used an entire bath melt in our tub at home and it stained the tub, my mom doesn’t really love the idea of me using a (coloured) bath melt all at once ever again. So I decided to cut this puppy up in smaller parts. This way you can use it more often and you still get plenty of effects. The water will still smell strongly of Snow Fairy and it will still be very hydrating. To what extend does depend a little bit on the size of your tub, but I’m sure it will be all right.
Like most Lush products these days, the Luxury Bath Oils from Lush are naked. However, they are very prone to melting so you should be smart and store it safely. They actually have a black box that can fit four of them. You can obviously reuse this box as often as you want and it will make sure your bath oils are safe. It’s only €1 and I think that’s a good investment.
Like I said I cut this bath oil up into parts and used one to give my tub a more hydrating feel and a nice scent. Because I didn’t use an awful lot of it the scent wasn’t incredibly strong, but it was definitely there and it was amazing. If you love Lush Snow Fairy, Mmmelting Marshmellow Moment is your best friend. It’s super sweet and almost like bubblegum. I was so excited when I gave this a sniff in store and realised it smelled just like Snow Fairy. This means that you never have to be without the scent of heavenly sweet goodness. If you’re not that into the Snow Fairy scent though (I don’t get that but okay) you might want to stay clear from this bath oil.
Once in the tub the bath oil will give the water a nice little tint. It does depend on how much you use, but even a little bit is enough for a nice pink colour. Aside from changing colours, it also adds a lot of moisture to the bath. You can tell if you look really closely at the water that there’s oil in it. And you can feel it. Just pop your leg it, take it out and feel the smooth goodness.
I’m absolutely in love with how this Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Luxury Bath Oil from Lush works for me. It’s the best scent Lush has ever created, it turns my bath water pink and it’s super hydrating. I’m also a big fan of pairing this with a bath bomb for even more spectacular effects!
All in all I’m a huge fan. I’m actually so happy I decided to give it a sniff in store. I never noticed it before. And best of all: this puppy is one of the few bath oils that’s also available in stores that don’t stock the entire bath oil collection. Super convenient and definitely worth checking out if you ask me. For such a small price you get a lot of goodness.
With that being said it’s time to end today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know if you have any experience with the Luxury Bath Oils from Lush!
