Rituals The Ritual Of Tsuru Bath Bombs

03/11/2019

Next to Lush, Rituals is one of my all time favourites brands in the beauty industry. I think they are super unique and I love pretty much all of their products. Especially their limited edition collections. Not too long ago Rituals launched their new winter collection called The Ritual Of Tsuru. Everything is packaged in red and gold and it looks just stunning. I was more than excited about this collection and wanted to try everything. And somehow my bestfriend knew that and she surprised me with an amazing gift from this collection: The Ritual Of Tsuru Bathe In Abundance Bath Bomb Set. I took pictures of them as quick as I possibly could and took a bath with them. If you’re interested in finding out whether or not these stunning Rituals Bath Bombs are just as amazing as my Lush favourites, make sure you continue reading this post!

The Rituals Ritual Of Tsuru Bathe In Abundance Bath Bomb Set comes in a really pretty red cardboard box. The box has some gold decorations on it and a bird. The bird might be a bit random, but I think it fits the theme of the box really well. I don’t know, I just like the way it looks. I’m sure the bird has something to do with the whole meaning behind the name of this collection but I really don’t feel like getting into detail about that. It doesn’t really matter anyway.

Anyway, the box does look really cute. It comes with three bath bombs. The bath bombs do have a piece of plastic wrapped around them, but there’s not as much plastic used as in the bath bombs from the Ritual of Holi collection. Those are just too much. Still it would’ve been better if they were naked, but okay. Not every brand is there yet.

Like I said you get three bath bombs in this box. I think that’s a nice amount. If there would’ve just been one in there I’d be very hesitant to use it because I don’t want it to be gone. Now that I have three I feel the freedom to just use one and not worry about it. That might be a personal thing of mine, but I’m sure more people out there feel that way.

Rituals The Ritual Of Tsuru Bathe In Abundance Bath Bomb Set – €13,50

The thing that Rituals is most known for is their unique scents. They always manage to come up with scents that you have never smell before and that are very ‘Rituals’. I think everyone who’s ever been to Rituals knows what I’m talking about. It’s just so much different than any other brand. Whenever they come out with a new scent I’m always excited to find out what it smells like.

The Ritual Of Tsuru collection has, in my opinion, one of the best scents ever. Okay, The Ritual Of Anahata is still my all time favourite, but this is a very close second. On the box they describe the scent as gold & pine. And that tells you exactly nothing. Because gold doesn’t really smell of anything and well pine is a scent I might be able to place but I couldn’t imagine this product just smelling like pine. It doesn’t by the way. I can smell where they are coming from with the pine but there is much more to the scent than just that. It has a nice perfumy scent to it. It’s very luxurious smelling and it also has something feminine chic to it. It’s just a really mesmerising scent.

So I think it’s about time to see what these bath bombs look like in the tub. Once you pop one of these bath bombs into the water it will sink almost immediately. On the bottom of the tub it starts to fizz and it slowly but surely completely dissolves. It is a very slow fizzer. It think it takes over 15 minutes for it to completely dissolve. That’s quite some time. So I usually already get into the tub even before it’s done fizzing. I mean, who feels like waiting for 15 minutes outside of a steamy hot tub? I know I don’t!

When the bath bomb hits the water the water starts to get a pink colour. The more the bath bomb has dissolved, the more colour the water gets. In the end the water has a raspberry red colour. It’s a very pretty colour to look at. I feel like with red bath bombs it’s always a bit tricky since it can look like blood. But in this case it doesn’t. It’s just a very pretty red colour. Oh and the gold on the bath bomb dissolves too. Every now and then you can see a sprinkle of gold floating through your bath. It’s not a super glittery bath bomb, but you can tell that there’s some sort of shimmer in here.

The scent of the bath bomb is nice and present. It’s not too strong, but definitely strong enough to smell it. I feel like that’s something I say a lot of the time, but well, it’s true. I find it a very comforting and nice scent to bathe it. I knew I liked it when I smelled it in the box, but I had no idea I’d love it this much.

All in all I’m actually really impressed by these Ritual Of Tsuru Bath Bombs. I did have some experience with the bath bombs from Rituals but that didn’t make me expect this. I love the way these look in the tub. The red is absolutely stunning. And the scent is incredible. These are definitely on the same level as Lush is for me and I’m pretty darn sure I’ll be repurchasing this!

And that brings us to the end of today’s review. Thank you guys so much for reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of the new The Ritual Of Tsuru collection from Rituals!
