Back when I just got my Visapure and wrote a First Impressions post about it, I promised you guys I would get back at you after I’ve been using the tool for at least a month. Today it’s been over a month since I first used it so I felt like it was about time for me to write this update. In today’s update I’m going to talk even more about the Philips Visapure Essential. I’m going to tell you guys if I still like it, what it has done for my skin in the long run and everything I feel like is worth mentioning about it. If you’re interested in reading about that, make sure you continue reading!
For those of you who don’t know what the Philips Visapure is I will first briefly explain it before we jump into the details. The Visapure is a little machine or tool, made by Philips, that will deep cleanse your skin. Instead of using your hands to cleanse your skin with, for example, face wash, you can use this tool. You put a bit of your favourite cleanser on the brush head, turn it on and move it all over your face. The brush will start to vibrate and twist which helps to get an even deeper cleanse than you would get by using your hands.
Skincare tools like this have been around for quite a while and many brands have created their own version of it. Some of the famous ones are the Clarisonic, the Foreo one, but also drugstore brands like Olaz and even Kruidvat have come out with their own version. Because I’ve always been a huge fan of Philips I decided to get myself their version, but they all basically do the same thing.

When I first heard about these tools I was a little skeptical to be honest. I mean why would you buy such an expensive tool to cleanse your skin if your hands do the job just fine. When I first started using it I quickly discovered why. They claim that it cleanses your skin up to 10 times better and I honestly really feel like that’s true. In my first impressions post I already mentioned that I felt like my skin got a lot smoother thanks to it and I still agree with that statement. My skin has never been this smooth in my entire life.
Another thing I’ve noticed over time is that my skin has gotten better since I started using this. It has really been clearing up a lot. I have less blemishes and my pores aren’t as large anymore. I also have a lot less blackheads and my skin looks more healthy in general.
Something I wasn’t sure about was whether I was actually going to continue using this thing. I mean it seemed like quite a hustle to use this instead of just taking your hands and cleansing the face. But because it has such an amazing effect on my skin, an incredible effect, I’ve actually continued using it ever single day since I got it. There’s literally not been a single day where I didn’t use it.
However I have to say that at first I used it both at night as well as in the morning and now I do skip the morning cleanse sometimes. I still prefer it if I do use it in the morning, but if I’m extremely tired or just way too lazy I might skip it from time to time. On those days I do notice that my makeup doesn’t go on as smoothly as it does when I do use it so I always regret it afterwards, but that’s just something I’m going to have to work on.
But overall I haven’t changed my mind about the Visapure. It has really amazed me. I’m so amazed by how easy it is to work with, how quick (it takes just 60 seconds) and how well it cleanses my skin. I’m extremely happy that it actually improved the quality of my skin because I really wasn’t happy with the way it looked before and I’m over the moon about the fact that my skin has been so smooth and soft lately. I just love this tool and there is no way I’m ever going a day without it anymore!
And that’s it for this little update. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know if you also use a skincare tool like this one, and if so, let me know how you like it and what it has done for your skin!
I have the Olaz one and like you mention, it is great but most of the times I’m too lazy to use it haha
