People who know me or have been reading my blog for a long time now know that I’m not that into clothing. I don’t care for fashion trends (at least not a lot) and I don’t buy clothes that often. To be honest I still wear some pieces I bought back when I was 12 (that’s 7 years ago). Anyway, lately that has been changing. Back in Lille I bought my first pieces of clothing from Hollister and ever since then I’m hooked. So, last weekend I placed 2 orders on Hollister and the week before that I also ordered some goodies and I’m going to show you all of that today. If you’re interested in finding out what I got, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the first order. There was a sale going on so I looked around those items and found this amazing pair of black high-waisted jeggings (jean-leggings). I always wear black pants and I wear exclusively high-waisted pants so this seemed like the perfect pair for me. I decided to order size 3-R and this ended up being a pretty good size for me. It’s not super, super tight, but just perfect.
A few days later when I was about to place my second order I saw that the price of those pants had been reduced even more. Because they are so super, super comfortable and they were only like 1/3th or even 1/4th of the original price I just had to get another pair and I’m really happy I did that!
Hollister High-Waisted Jeggings – €49 (reduced to €26,09 and later €12,91)
I also came across this really gorgeous flowy top with tie straps. It has a bit of a linnen look to it which adds a really classy feel to it and it’s, just like all other Hollister clothes I’ve touched so far, extremely, extremely soft. It’s a really nice and comfortable top to wear and I really love the look of it. It’s also really nice and flowy which makes it perfect for summer.
The reason why I bought it is first of all because I think it looks absolutely stunning, but also because I just don’t have any summer clothes at all. I never buy them because in the Netherlands it’s never warm enough for me to wear summery things like this (also because I’m always cold). But lately it has been pretty hot so it seemed like the perfect time for me to go ahead and buy some summer gear.
Hollister Tie-Stap Tank – €25 (reduced to €15,75)
Moving on to the third item from that order. Off-shoulder tops are all the rage right now and even though it’s not completely my thing I do really like the look of it on others and I wanted a top like that for myself. I also really liked the design on this particular one and I’m a big fan of the colour. All together it’s just the perfect top for me.
Quality wise this shirt feels really, really nice. It’s, again, super soft and incredibly comfortable and it feels very well made. I’m also really glad that the off-shoulder part of this top stays off-shoulder, even if you lift your hands/arms or whatever. It just stays put really nicely.
Hollister Ruffle Cold Shoulder Cami – €25 (reduced to €14,39)
Moving on to another summery piece. Recently I bought a really nice playsuit from Boohoo which I ended up really liking, so I decided to get myself more playsuits. I came across this really pretty one with a cutesy florally design and also the off-shoulder thing. Since I know now that the Hollister things really stay off the shoulder I just really had to buy it.
But then I started to doubt about which colour to get: the blue one or the red one. The boohoo one is blueish too, but blue does suit me and I don’t know if red does. After thinking about it for a while I finally decided to just get both. It seems a little extreme, but I don’t have summer clothing at all so I could definitely use two playsuits.
Hollister Smocked Cold Shoulder Romper – €45 (reduced to €13,60)
I also really needed a new pair of flip flops. I haven’t bought a pair in years and the ones I do have are super, super uncomfortable. They actually give me really painful blisters so I never want to wear those again. Whilst browsing through the items on Hollister I came across this really, really pretty pair. They look very sophisticated and well made and therefore they seemed like the perfect pair for me.
These flip flops are dark brown and have two straps. One is in the same brown colour as the flip flop itself and is braided and the other stap is just normal and has a gold colour. Overall I really, really like the look of them and I’m glad I got my hands on them!
Hollister Vegan Leather Mixed Strap Flip Flop – €22 (reduced to €10,48)
Moving on to a piece of lingerie. Well I don’t know if you can actually call it lingerie but it does look pretty sophisticated. This is a bandeau from white lace and it has to extra straps of lace that go a little lower. I don’t have any bandeaus yet but I do have lots of tops which just don’t look good in combination with a normal bra.
This one seemed really comfortable, it does have a bit of filling so your boobs will look like they have a little bit of a nicer shape and it also has some of that silicone-like lining that keeps it in place. I really, really like it!
Hollister (Gilly Hicks) Lace Bandeau – €18 (reduced to €6,79)
Moving on to some of the comfy pieces I bought. I know that Hollister has these incredibly soft sweaters and stuff and since I’m really into comfy clothing I just couldn’t resist buying one of those extremely comfortable sweaters. I ended up buying this bright or neon orange one and I absolutely love it. Yes it’s incredibly bright and no I’m not used to that, but I do really like it a lot and its comfort is worth anything.
I literally have never felt anything in my life as soft as this sweater and I’m definitely going to get so, so, so much wear out of this. I never want to take it off again!
Hollister Cropped Sweater – €29 (reduced to €12,23)
Moving on to the last item of the second order. This is a pair of their famous fleece leggings. I already had a pair which I bought back in Lille (which I’ve been wearing non stop ever since I got them) and I just had to get another pair. Back when I bought the first pair my actual size was sold out so I bought a pair in one size smaller which do fit but are a little tight.
This time I bought a pair in my actual size and it’s even more comfortable. It fits perfectly, it’s super soft and comfy and it’s nice and warm. It’s literally everything you need in a pair of leggings and I love it!
Hollister Fleece Leggings – €35 (reduced to €11,90)
Moving on to the last order. This one I placed a couple days after the second one because I regretted not getting a couple of items and I decided I was allowed to get them right now anyways. So, the first thing I got is this incredibly soft hoodie. It’s made out of the same material as the neon sweater I showed you guys earlier but this one has a zipper. Instead of neon orange I bought this one in a rather neutral colour, dark grey, and I really love it.
I am a huge sucker for hoodies but this is by far the most comfortable one I have ever touched in my entire life and I’m really, really happy I actually have it now!
Hollister Cropped Hoodie – €39 (reduced to €12,95)
Moving on to yet another comfy piece of clothing. This is another hoodie but it’s not one you can close with a zipper. It does look really soft and comfortable tho and I also think that it’s perfectly okay to wear this to school without looking too much like you just really didn’t want to get out of bed that morning.
This hoodie came in a couple of different colours but I decided to go for the dark blue one because that’s the colour that suits me the most and that I like the most too. It’s just a little less boring that grey.
Hollister Fleece Hoodie – €35 (reduced to €12,96)
The last comfy item I got is a pair of pyjama shorts. I only have one pair and I do like to wear those during the hot summer days. I ended up getting this rather elegant looking grey pair from the Gilly Hicks collection and I think it looks absolutely adorable. I know they’re just pyjama shorts but I just really like the look of them, they’re adorable!
Aside from looking really cute the material is also really soft (I feel like I’ve said that a million times now) and that makes it perfect for me. I’m definitely going to wear this a lot!
Hollister Comfortable Pyjama Shorts – €22 (reduced to €11,09)
I actually forgot to take a picture of this shirt so this is a picture from the Hollister website
Moving on to the last two tops I got from Hollister. First of all I got this grey shirt with white lace on the front and an open back. I actually needed 5 more Euro’s to get free shipping (otherwise you pay 5 Euro’s for shipping) so I decided to get this. Aside from getting it because I wanted free shipping I also think it’s really pretty.
I like it because it’s very basic yet very elegant. The lace looks really pretty and makes it look less boring and the open back adds a nice touch of classiness too in my opinion.
Hollister Ribbed Top With Lace – €29 (recuded to €6,47)
And finally the last top I got is this really pretty white flowy blouse with stars all over it and an opening on the shoulder area. At first I wasn’t sure whether I should get it or not because it didn’t seem like my thing completely, but in the end I managed to convince myself that it’s actually perfect for me and that I should really get it. So that’s what I did.
Unfortunately it was sold out in my size so I bought a size smaller, but it’s totally fine. It fits perfectly and it looks really pretty on (in my opinion). I’m really glad I ended up buying it anyways!
Hollister Pleated Chiffon Cold Shoulder Top – €35 (reduced to €11,51)
But that wasn’t it yet for this clothing haul. I also quickly wanted to show you guys the amazing playsuit I got from Boohoo and a couple of other items I got throughout the last two weeks. Let’s start off with the playsuit. Like I said it’s from Boohoo and it has this really pretty yellowy floral print and a dark blue back. I think it looks really sophisticated and pretty and I’m completely obsessed with it.
I also got myself two new shorts since I just don’t have any. I got both of them off of United Wardrobe. The first one I got is from Vero Moda and is made out of this really comfortable material. I’m in love with the design on it and I can’t wait to wear it. The other one I got is from H&M and is made out of this really nice and comfortable material as well.
Boohoo Playsuit €23 – Vero Moda Shorts €5 – H&M Shorts €5
Also from United Wardrobe I bought this extremely comfortable sweater from H&M. It’s a very unique sweater and to be honest it’s actually the kind of light coloured sweater I’ve been looking for all my life. The rims are pretty slim which is something I really like about it and it has rounded edges which makes it look more playful.
The colour is also one of the reasons I like it, it’s a bit of an off-white colour and it has this really cute knitted pattern going on. All together I’m just head over heals in love with this sweater!
H&M Sweater €4
Lastly from United Wardrobe I got this dress from Brandy Melville. I’ve been wanting to buy this dress for ages, it’s such a classic dress, but I never managed to get my hands on it. Now that I have it I’m really glad I bought it because it’s the most soft and comfortable dress in the world and it just looks absolutely incredible.
The very last piece of clothing that I bought is this top from H&M. It’s a very basic top with these little circly things around the edges which I think look really fancy and I thought it’d look really pretty with the H&M shorts that I got.
Brandy Melville Dress €9 – H&M Top €7,99
Even though I thought that was the very last thing, I actually ordered three more items from Hollister right before I wanted to put up this post. The sale just got a little better and they had free shipping so I didn’t have to spend a lot in order to get free shipping. I ended up buying this gorgeous white/creamy top with lace on the sleeves. A while back, about 3 years, I saw something like this at H&M, I fitted it, loved it, but I didn’t end up buying it and I have to say that I’ve always regretted that decision.
So when I saw they had something like that at Hollister in an even more beautiful design than the one I saw at H&M I knew I had to get it. It’s just way too beautiful not to buy. Aside from that I think it’s a very sophisticated top which is perfect for going to dinner or things like that and since I don’t have a lot of long sleeves that are sophisticated like that I decided this would be a worthy addition to my collection.
Hollister Long-Sleeve Lace Top – €39 (reduced to €8,09)
Moving on to the next item. This might look a little familiar because I bought it earlier in a bright neon colour. It’s one of the Hollister cropped sweaters. The neon orange one is just the softest and most comfortable sweaters in this entire world and it’s not super, super thick so you can still wear it now that it’s not that hot outside but it’s not freezing or anything and therefore I decided I wanted to buy it in a more toned down colour too.
This time I bought the grey version. The light grey one to be exact. It’s just as soft as the orange one and I’m so, so, so happy that I got it. It’s the most comfortable thing in the world and just wearing it already makes me so incredibly happy.
Hollister Cropped Sweater – €29 (reduced to €16,19)
The last item I got is actually a bra. In my second or first order I got myself one of the bralettes by Gilly Hicks which is a Hollister brand. It’s the softest and most comfortable bra in the world which made me decide I wanted another one of them, but this time I didn’t want the bralette but just the regular bra.
And that’s exactly what I got. I got it in the same white colour and with the same lace design. To me it’s just one of the prettiest and also most comfortable bras and it’s also very elegant looking. I love it!
Hollister (Gilly Hicks) Lade Triangle Bra – €18 (reduced to €7,19)
And that’s really everything for the biggest clothing haul I’ve ever done. I’m really, really happy with all of my new clothing and I can’t wait to wear everything. Thank you so much for reading today’s post and be sure to let me know what you think of my new clothes and which pieces are your favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.
