Since spring is upon us I thought it might be fun to share some of my favourite nail polishes for the season. To be completely real with you guys I haven’t worn nail polish for about half a year, however I do still like it. It’s just that I’m not allowed to wear any at work and since I work twice a week it’s pretty useless to polish your nails for those 2 days I don’t have to. Anyways, let’s stop rambling and start talking about gorgeous spring nail polishes!
My first favourite nail polish for spring is this gorgeous pastel lilac polish by L’Oreal. I believe it’s from their Les Blancs collection and it’s called Nouvelle Vague. It’s a very pretty and settle colour that looks very sophisticated. Of course you can wear it all year round like all the other nail polishes I am about to mention, but it’s especially great for spring in my opinion.
The next nail polish is by Kiko. It’s one of my all time favourite nail polishes because it just looks stunning and it’s perfect for any occasion. It is called Apple Blossom and I think that’s a perfect name for the colour. It’s definitely a polish I think everyone should own.
Next up are two Essie nail polishes. The first one I actually got during the Holiday season, but because of its fruity colour I think it’s perfect for spring as well. It is called Stones ‘N Roses and it’s a gorgeous watermelon-y colour. It’s fruity but it isn’t too bright, which makes it perfect for everyday wear.
The other Essie nail polish is called Muchi, Muchi. This is a super light baby pink colour. It can be worn sheer, in a french-manicure kinda way, but if you apply more coats it can be more opaque as well. It’s a very sophisticated colour but it does really remind me of blossom, which is why I think it’s a perfect colour for spring.
The next nail polish is another one from the L’Oreal Les Blancs collection. This one is very light and has a bit of a lemony tint to it. It’s called Lemon Meringue and that perfectly describes what it looks like. This colour is definitely one of my all time favourites!
Onto purples. Both of these polishes are by Essie, I just love that brand when it comes to nail polish, and both of them are very unique. The lighter one is called Splash Of Grenadine and it’s a gorgeous lilac shade but with a little more colour to it than the pastel one by L’Oreal.
The darker purple colour is called Flowerista and I believe it’s from the spring collection from last year. It’s not your typical spring colour but that’s what makes it such a great colour. It’s unique, it’s not something you see everyday but it does remind me of flowers.
Lastly I have two blue shades. The first one is by Sally Hansen. It’s from their amazing Miracle Gel range. This colour is called Sugar Fix. I have worn this so much last year and I’m planning on wearing it a ton this year as well. It’s a very pretty sky blue colour that is very bright and fun. It’s a very happy colour and therefore I think it’s perfect for spring.
The last polish is by Essie. It’s a really pretty blueish grey colour called Cocktail Bling. I’m not sure whether I think the name is very fitting for the colour it is or not, but I do love it. This might not be the first colour you think of when you think of spring nail polishes, but trust me. It’s the best!
And that basically sums up today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and
be sure to let me know which nail polishes you think are perfect for spring!
XOXO, Nicole.
Ik heb Essie al twee jaar geleden in mijn kast zitten, nog niet eens geprobeerd, erg he.
