Miss Sporty is an affordable makeup brand that has been around for ages. I have to say that I have never tried any of their products before. Recently that changed. I received a few of their lip products and two eyeshadows and I decided to put them all to the test. After testing them thoroughly I decided it was about time to review these beauties. If you’re interested in finding out what my first experience with Miss Sporty was like, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the lip products. I received a total of three lip products: two lipsticks and a gloss. All are from different ranges. The first one, the one on the left is from the Wonder Smooth collection. This is a very budget friendly range (€1,99) and contains a lot of gorgeous colours.
The lipgloss in the middle is from the Precious Shine collection. Just like all the other lip products by Miss Sporty they have a very wide selection of colours available and that’s something I really like about them! The last one, the most right product, is from the My Best Friend Forever collection. I’ve been wanting to try the products from this collection for ages so I’m really glad I was able to try one of the lipsticks from that range now!
With that being said, let’s start discussing the products one by one!
Let’s start off with the lipstick I was most excited about, the Best Friend Forever Lipstick. I have it in the shade 103 My Joyful Nude. It comes in a very pretty and sleek packaging. The tube itself is silver and does feel pretty hefty for a budget lipstick and the lid is in the same colour as the lipstick. In my case that’s a bit of a peachy colour. I really like the look of it. It’s sleek, it’s elegant and it’s simple.
The colour I have is called 103 My Joyful Nude. I do like the name, although I don’t think it’s fits the colour that well. It does seem to be quite a natural colour, but I wouldn’t call it nude. You might find out why when you look at the swatch in a few seconds. The colour My Joyful Nude is really pretty. It’s a rather light peachy pink colour that is perfect for Spring and Summer!

The texture of this lipstick is really nice. It’s a very nice and balmy lipstick, but it’s not too balmy. It’s not slippery or anything. Because of this really nice texture the lipstick is very rich and glides onto the lips like a dream. The colour pay off is perfect and it creates a very even look. I really like that about it!
The lasting power isn’t disappointing either. For a budget proof lipstick I think it’s pretty incredible how long it stays in place. I think it’s thanks to the texture which is balmy yet strong enough to stay in place, that it stays in place for about 2 to 3 hours. That’s definitely not bad!
The second lipstick I’m reviewing today is from the Wonder Smooth range. This one comes in a slightly different packaging. The packaging is a little more thick and has a clear lid and a reddish bottom part with stars all over it. I do like the look of it. Even though it doesn’t look very luxurious, it does look really fun and pretty and I like that about it!
The colour I have is called 500 Heroic Copper. Again, I do like the name, but this isn’t a very coppery colour in my opinion. It’s actually way more wearable than it looks and sounds. The colour is a bit of a combination between red and pink with a bit of a berry tone to it. It’s really fun and pretty and definitely one of those colours for days you do want to wear something not too bright but a little more exciting than just another nude colour.

This lipstick has a slightly different texture than the Best Friends Forever lipstick, but I do really like it. This one is a lot more smooth and balmy than the other one is and therefore it’s even more comfortable on the lips. One of my favourite things about the texture of this lipstick is that it’s very lightweight. You don’t feel it on the lips at all. That’s a great thing in my book!
The staying power is a little less compared to the BFF lipstick, but it’s still pretty impressive. It’s a bit more balmy which is why it disappears quicker. The good thing about it is, is that it fades very evenly. You won’t end up with a nude coloured inside lip and a red outside. The lipstick stays in place for about 2 hours.
The last lip product I got is the Precious Shine Lipgloss. This comes in a clear tube with a silver lid. I do really like that. I like the clear tube and I like the shape of the tube. It’s very basic and clean but it’s pretty. It doesn’t show that it’s that affordable. The wand that comes with it is flat and rather big. It’s very soft and perfect to apply this product with.
The colour I got is called 100 Rough Diamond. This is what I call an amazing product name. It’s fun, it’s simple and it matches the colour. The colour Rough Diamond is actually clear. Back in the day I used to love clear lipgloss and even though I haven’t used it in a while, I do like it. It’s perfect to put over top of a more matte lipstick to add that extra bit of shine and gloss to it.

I did expect this lipgloss to be very intense. I expected it to be very thick, heavy, glossy and especially pretty sticky. However, it turned out to be the complete opposite of what I thought. It is intense, it does add a nice bit of shine to your lips, but it’s not thick, heavy or sticky at all. It’s the complete opposite of that. It’s super thin, light weight and it’s the opposite of sticky. It’s super smooth!
Lipglosses in general tend to fade pretty quickly and this one isn’t an exception to that rule. However it does hold up a pretty solid 1 and a half to 2 hours depending on how much you talk, eat drink and kiss while wearing it. It’s not bad at all for a lipgloss, but it’s not mind blowing either.
Here’s what all colours look like on my lips in the opposite order. As you can tell my lips were pretty dry while taking these pictures which is why the BFF lipstick looks a little patchy. However, when I tried it when my lips weren’t dry and flakey, it didn’t look like that at all. It looked way smoother. It is something to keep in mind when considering to buy it if you’re someone with very dry lips, but if you’re not it won’t matter.
Overall I really like all three lipstick. Colour and texture wise the Wonder Smooth lipstick is my ultimate favourite, but the BFF lipstick wins at staying power and colour pay off.
Onto the eyeshadows. Just by looking at these two eyeshadows I’m already excited. They come in very simple but pretty clear packagings that feel pretty well made. The design is simple but to the point. I like that you can see which colour it is without having to open up the packaging.
I received to colours of eyeshadow, both are matte. The one on the left is a very pretty creamy white colour called 125 Nude. The one on the right is a matte medium brown shade called 123 Chocolate. Both are very natural but very useful shades. They’re both shades that you just need for your everyday look and that’s what makes them so perfect.
Studio Colour Mono Matte (125 Nude & 123 Chocolate) – €1,99
The texture of these eyeshadows is really nice. It’s actually very unique especially when it comes to drugstore eyeshadows. The eyeshadows feel very, very smooth, almost silky to the touch. Your finger glides over them when you try to swatch them and that feels absolutely incredible.
Because of the silkiness the shadows have a very unique finish to them. They are definitely matte, but it’s not just matte. They also blend really quickly and easily, but not too easily. I’m actually quite impressed by that since budget proof eyeshadows usually fade pretty badly while blending so the fact that these do not is just great!
As you can tell the pigmentation of the eyeshadows is pretty okay. You do have to keep in mind that the light shade is quite close to my skintone which is why it doesn’t show up that well, and that matte drugstore eyeshadows aren’t that good regularly. I definitely think these are better than most other drugstore eyeshadows which is what I like about them. They do need to be build up a little, especially the brown shade, but I do think that’s okay.
The staying power of the shadows is okay. You do need to use a primer or a cream base underneath to really keep them in place, but if you do you don’t have to worry about these shadows at all. They might fade a little tiny bit, but they definitely won’t disappear throughout the day.
Overall I really like these Miss Sporty lipsticks and eyeshadows. Not a single one of the products has let me down and that’s very impressive. I’m usually a big fan of Dior, MAC, you name it, so when I like a drugstore product it does mean something! If you’re on the hunt for a new affordable lipstick/gloss or eyeshadow, make sure you check these out!
