Last week (or maybe the week before that) I received an email from UV-Fashions if I wanted to choose a few pieces of clothing from their webshop and show it on my blog. Since I do really like fashion and I was feeling like doing something new on my blog like an OOTD I agreed. I ended up getting 2 pieces of clothing which are absolutely perfect from spring and summer. If you’re interested in finding out what I got, how I like the clothes and how I style the pieces, make sure you keep on reading!
The first item I got is a gorgeous blue dress with a really pretty pattern on it. I fell in love with this dress from the moment I saw it. I really like dresses like this, especially when the sleeves are a little longer. I’m someone who’s always cold, even when it’s like a hundred degrees outside, so long or just short sleeves are a must for me.
Another thing I really like about it is that it has a tiny pocket on the front. First of all that’s just really convenient, it’s always handy to have a pocket and second of all I really like the way it looks. I think it really adds something to the overall look of the dress.
The dress is made out of a very special material. It’s very lightweight and feels incredibly comfortable on your body. Aside from that it also has UV protection build in, so you’re safe from the harmful rays of the sun!
The other item I got is a hat. I’m usually not a hat person, but I do think it’s a great piece to have for summer. That because you have to protect your head from the sun too, and a fashionable hat like this is a great way to do that. Just like the dress it has UV protection build in as well, so it’s definitely a summer proof hat.
This hat is just like the dress very comfortable to wear. It isn’t heavy and it’s definitely one of those pieces that would look good on everybody. I actually really like wearing it to be honest.
For makeup I kept it quite simple this day. I created a look using a very budget proof eyeshadow palette: the Collection Eyes Uncovered palette and for blush I used my new Becca blush in Damselfly in combination with my new Becca highlighter in Opal. I really love the way it turned out!
Overall I really like the UV-Fashion pieces. I am in love with the dress and the hat is really pretty as well. If you’re not as in love with this dress as I am, UV-Fashions has lots of other dresses, you can find them here. And if you’re curious to see what else they have, definitely check out their website UV-Fashions.nl.
And that’s it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and let me know how you like my outfit and if you’ve ever ordered something from UV-fashions!
