An Ode To Bioderma: Bioderma Crealine & Sebium

24/05/2017

I am aware of the fact that the Bioderma hype has been long, long gone. But you guys, I still really love it and I just think that it deserves way more attention than it is currently getting. Bioderma is amazing and everyone should at least try it once in their life. Especially if you’re a makeup fanatic. Today I’m going to write a post dedicated to Bioderma telling you why I love it and why it’s the best thing out there! If you’re interested in reading about that, make sure you continue reading!

Let’s start of with the version that it all started off with: the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution Micellaire. This is the original micellar water by Bioderma. It’s free of perfume and hypoallergenic and it’s the best thing ever to remove your makeup with. I believe I heard about this for the first time from MissGlamorazzi. She used it in a video and for some reason I just thought it sounded amazing and I wanted it. For me it was a little easier to get than for people who lived in America at that time (I think it’s more accessible now though), but I had to go to France to get myself my first bottle. And so I did. My mom and I went on a vacation to Paris and I bought my first two pack of Bioderma and I was happier than ever.

From what I had heard on Youtube Bioderma was supposed to be the most wonderful product to remove your makeup. They said it was used on models because it wouldn’t leave behind a grey cast underneath your eyes from the mascara. And that’s definitely true. Bioderma removes anything and everything. Nothing will be left behind, nothing!

Another thing I like so much about Bioderma, well this version of Bioderma, is that it’s free of perfume but it doesn’t stink. Lot’s of perfume free products I have used in the past smell absolutely terrible. This one doesn’t. It just smells like nothing at all. Also, because it’s free of perfume it’s very gentle to the skin. It’s definitely one of the most sensitive products I have ever used.

Back when my eye was inflamed and I couldn’t use anything, not even the most gentle or sensitive things, not even things made for very sensitive and irritated eye-skin, this was the only thing I could use without being in excruciating pain. It didn’t even tingle. If that doesn’t show how sensitive it is, I don’t know what does.

Moving on to the other version, the Bioderma Sebium H2O Purifying Cleansing Micelle Solution. Back when I finished my first bottle of the original Bioderma I decided to order a smaller bottle of this one. I have had oily skin for as long as I can remember, but back when I ordered this it was at a really, really bad state. I could definitely use something that would control my oil at the time. And this turned out to be a great solution to that problem.

This version of the Bioderma micellar water is a little different. First of all it has a blueish tint to it and second of all this isn’t perfume free. It does smell really good though, really, really good, but if you’re on the hunt for something perfume free, this isn’t going to be what you’re looking for.

Anyway, just like the regular version this one is amazing at removing makeup. Literally amazing. It doesn’t even leave a trace of makeup behind. It really showed me how clean your skin can be after wearing makeup. And it works so incredibly quick. If you ever feel the need to re-do your makeup, this is what you should be using to remove the makeup that has already been applied to your face. It’s the only thing that is, really quickly, going to remove everything. Literally everything. I am not kidding!

This Sebium version is also great for removing excess oil on your skin. It removes all of that and creates a perfect and smooth canvas for your makeup that is free of anything that could possibly interrupt with a perfect makeup application.

Overall Bioderma is just the best thing ever. I know I always call it Bioderma and that’s just the name of the brand, not the product itself, but I hope it doesn’t bother you. What I’m trying to say is that Bioderma micellar water is the best stuff out there and no drugstore or high-end remake can top it. Literally nothing. I have tried so many micellar waters throughout the years but nothing ever has come close to Bioderma. So, if you do want to try a micellar water, save yourself the trouble and just go for Bioderma right away, you won’t be disappointed.

And that’s everything I wanted to say about Bioderma for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this little ‘ode’ and be sure to let me know if you have ever used Bioderma and if you did be sure to let me know if you’re a big fan too or not!

XOXO, Nicole.
