Nivea is one of my favorite brands when it comes to affordable skin care products. I’ve been using products from their Young skin & Oily skin collection for years now. This product was new to me, but I was very excited to try it out. If you’re interested in knowing more about it, keep on reading!
The cleansing gel comes in this big bottle which contains 200 ml of product. The product comes out through this hole in the top. Because the texture is gelly, this system works fine. You can easily control how much product you want to get out.
I think that Nivea really worked hard on the look of their products. As I mentioned in another post, every time I repurchase on of their products, the packaging has changed. I think it’s a good thing they try to improve it, and I think they really did a great job when it comes to that.
Nivea promises that this cleansing gel will leave you with clear and matte skin. It says that it removes make-up and helps prevent imperfections.
To me this product is just something to remove my make-up with. Of course it would be nice if it mattifies my skin and if it makes sure I won’t get pimpels, but if my body decides to give me a pimple, it will, and nothing can stop that.
Because my skin can get extremely oily, and because I use it at night time I don’t really think it makes a difference in how oily or how matte my skin looks. Again, I don’t really use it for those purposes, it would be nice, but it’s not the most important thing for me.
The product itself is gelly, as it says on the bottle. It is almost colorless and doesn’t contain any form of scrub particles. Therefore it’s a very gentle remover. I feel like removing make-up is what this product does best.
Over all I think this products is a great basic make-up remover, nothing more than that really. If you’re on the hunt for something that won’t add oils to your skin and removes your make-up, this is really something you should try.
I hope you enjoyed reading todays review, and let me know what your favorite make-up remover is!
