New Lush Opening Den Bosch + Haul (incl. Harajuku Bath Bombs)

16/03/2019

I go to Lush far more often than I should. Most Friday mornings I can be found at the Lush store in Den Bosch. And recently they announced they were going to move and upgrade their store. Last Friday, the 15th of March, their brand new store opened and obviously I went there to see what it ended up looking like. In today’s post I’m going to talk to you guys about the new experience, my opinion on the new store and I obviously am going to show you what I bought during the opening. And spoiler alert: I got some of the Lush Harajuku Bath Bombs! So keep on reading!

I was a little late, so when I came in to the store the activities and festivities had already started. The cool thing was that they made a fresh face mask in store and everyone was allowed to help. When I came in part of the mask was already made, but I witnessed most of it still. By the way: it’s Rosy Cheeks you’re looking at. When the mask was fully made we could scoop them into sample pots and everyone could have one. At first I helped putting the lids on the little black pots and then I upgraded to filling the pots with the mask. I know it sounds really silly and dull, but I actually really enjoyed this part. It’s something you never get to do and it’s fun. And it smells really amazing so that’s a big pro too.

so the first thing I got in store was the Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask sample, freshly made in store. Even though the mask making was definitely the most exciting part of the experience for me, there were a lot of other cool things going on in the store.

The coolest thing is that this new Lush store in Den Bosch is the first Lush store in Europe to sell the Harajuku Bath Bombs. They don’t have the entire collection, but they do have a bunch of them! They did a demo of the ‘A Groovy Kind Of Love’ Bath Bomb and it looked so cool you guys! It really did.

Okay, moving on to the haul part of this post. I have to admit that I did have a hard time picking out what I wanted to buy because it was extremely, extremely busy in store. You could hardly walk and everywhere were people blocking your sight. Obviously I did expect that, but well, I still wanted to pick some things up during this special day.

After walking about 5 rounds through the store, I ended up picking up three bath bombs, a face product and a wash card. So that’s what I’m going to show you right now. Because I’m very lazy and forgetful, I forgot to take group pictures of the products so we’re just going to discuss them one by one now shall we?

The first bath bomb I picked up is the Think Pink bath bomb. If you guys know me even the slightest bit, you know I’m actually more of a bubble bar kind of girl, but somehow today was a bath bomb day. So, Think Pink. It’s bright pink, it’s glittery and it smells incredibly good. I’m interested to see what this will do for me in my bath!

The next bath bomb I picked up from Lush is part of the new Harajuku bath bomb collection. This is a huge collection full of exclusive bath bombs that will launch near the end of the month. The one I picked up is called Blackberry and it definitely looks like one. I have to say that I walked past this bath bomb the first four times I saw it, but then I decided to give it a proper sniff.

And when I did that, I knew I had to get it. This baby smells so good. It’s a very soft and comforting scent and it’s not as incredibly sweet as some of the other Lush products. It also has a really pretty colour, I love blue bath water, and I love the shape of this bath bomb. All in all it’s a perfect match for me and I didn’t even saw it coming. Take that as a lesson you guys, sniff everything before you judge!

Lush Harajuku Blackberry Bath Bomb – €5,50

The next bath bomb I picked up at the new Lush store is also from the Harajuku collection. When I first saw the pictures of what’s in this collection I closely investigated every bath bomb with my boyfriend. We discussed almost every single one and I made a mental list of the ones I wanted to pick up. The one my boyfriend and I both were very excited about is the Lucky Cat Bath Bomb. I mean would you take a look at it. Isn’t it the cutest thing you have ever seen?

And in addition to that it smells pretty dang amazing as well. It’s such a unique and fresh scent with a ton of sweetness to it. It’s right up my alley.

And a little fun fact the cashier told me: this was the first product they ever did a demo on in this new Lush store, so it has a special meaning to this specific store. How cool is that?!

I also picked up a wash card. I actually have been thinking about picking one of these up for a while now, but I was never sure what it actually was, how you should use it and all that kind of fun stuff. So I decided to skip it again this time and wait in line to pay for what I did get. But then an employee asked me if I had found everything I wanted and I told her that I was considering a wash card but wasn’t sure how to actually use it.

So she ended up doing a demo on it for me and I had given it a proper try. I was very impressed by how well it worked and how amazing the scent was that I decided to buy it. I also was impressed by the fact that this is made of apple pulp. So it’s actually a product that recycles something you’d otherwise toss. How cool!

Lush Goddess Wash Card – €2,50

The very last product I picked up is another one of the Lush Naked Cleansing Balms. I already bought the Like A Virgin recently (you’ll see that in a haul very soon) and I was also very curious about this one, Sleepy Face. So I picked it up. It was only €5,95 and I felt like that was a very reasonable price for something I want to try out. I’m really excited to give it a go sometime soon!

And with that being said I mentioned everything I wanted to about my experience in the new Lush store in Den Bosch and everything I bought. I think the store looks absolutely stunning, it’s nice and big and they have a ton more products than they used to. So for me it’s definitely an upgrade!

Thank you guys so much for reading and be sure to let me know if you’ve already visited the new Lush store in Den Bosch or not!

Zalig. En de werking ook. Lafff it.
