Last week I felt like spending a bit of money on some gorgeous pieces of makeup. So that’s what I did. I picked up some gorgeous pieces of makeup and skincare from Dior and Clinique and even though it isn’t a ton, I still thought it might be fun to share with you what I got. So, if you’re interested in finding out what I got, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the fist product that I picked up. This is the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector in the shade Invisible Light. I was in desperate need of a new makeup base and I figured that Clinique would have some great products. After browsing through their collection for a little while I came across this product.
This is a small tube filled with a formula that claims to minimise your pores and make your skin look instantly perfect. It came in three shades: invisible bright, invisible light and invisible deep. I decided to go for light. I can’t wait to give it a try!
The Clinique Pore Refining Solutions costs €26,50.
Next up is the first Dior product I got. It’s the Diorskin Forever Foundation. A while ago I bought my first ever Dior foundation, the Diorskin Star foundation. I fell in love with that and decided I wanted another Dior foundation. One that was going to be a little more mattifying than the Star foundation.
I ended up picking up this one in the lightest shade. Since I still had a couple of gift cards I actually got an amazing deal on it so I’m really excited about that. I can’t wait to try it out and tell you guys what I think of it!
The Diorskin Forever Foundation costs €50,90.
Another Dior product I bought is their Diorskin Star Concealer. I heard a few people rave about this so I decided I wanted to give it a try myself. It’s from the same range as the Diorskin Star foundation that I adore so I’m pretty sure this is going to be my next holy grail concealer.
This concealer comes in a few shades only. I decided to go for the lightest shade since I’m really flipping pale so I hope it will be a great match for me!
The Diorskin Star Concealer costs €35,95.
Next up is something I’ve been wanting for quite a while now, it’s a Dior highlighter. When I saw they had it I just couldn’t resist buying it. It’s their Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer. It comes in a huge blue box and inside that box you’ll find the highlighter, a little bag to put it in and a small kabuki brush.
I absolutely love the way this all looks. It looks so luxury and extravagant. I’m obsessed with it. It’s one of the most stunning products that I currently own and I can’t wait to tell you guys more about it!
The Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer costs €56,90.
A few of the things I bought are still on their way over to my house, which is why I don’t have pictures made by myself. The first thing that is on its way to my house is this IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Duo. I was in desperate need of a new brow product since I’m starting to run out of my Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil and this seemed like quite a great product so I decided to order it and give it a try.
The IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Duo costs €28,-.
I also ordered two products by the brand Avene. I’ve been struggling with very severe dryness around my eye area. It’s very swollen and flaky and it hurts a lot. I have a million skincare products but nothing works and everything just makes my eye area feel like it’s on fire. Therefore I decided to order two products from this brand since it seemed like their products are quite great for very sensitive skin. I ordered a gentle eye makeup remover and their Cicalfate Cream. I really hope this will work!
The Avene Cicalfate Cream costs €6,95 and the Gentle Eye Makeup Remover €7.95.
But that wasn’t it yet. I also got myself a body cream by Rituals. It’s their summer limited edition called Ritual Of Karma and it comes in this really pretty mint jar with a copper lid. I really like the smell of this so I’m glad I was able to get my hands on it!
The Rituals Ritual Of Karma Body Cream costs €17,50.
The last item that I got is a skincare product by Clinique. Like I mentioned in my beauty goals post from last week I want to start using better skincare products. When I came across this big guy I decided this was going to be a great first step. I bought the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel With Pump.
It’s quite a big bottle and therefore quite a big commitment, especially if you consider the fact that I have never tried any of the Clinique moisturisers, but I’m pretty sure this is going to be a great one!
The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel With Pump costs €55,50.
And that’s everything that I got. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know what you have been buying lately!
XOXO, Nicole.
Great post!
I really like the Clinique Moisturizer, so far it is my favorite product to use!
