Back in the summer of 2015 I won a give away. Two of the products I won are these two Neutrogena Moisture Shine lipglosses. I was super excited to try my first ever Neutrogena makeup products and so I did. Because I went to London a few days after receiving them and because I bought lots of stuff there I forgot about these two a bit and I ended up never reviewing them. Because I do think they’re worth it, I’m going to review them today. If you’re interested in finding out more about these glosses, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the first colour. This one is called Nutri-Berry and it’s a really pretty berry pink colour with a bit of shimmer to it. Usually I’m not that into glittery or shimmery lip products, but I honestly do like the way it looks in this lipgloss.
The lipgloss comes in a long rectangular shaped plastic packaging. The cap is silver and so are the letters on the packaging. I think the packaging looks really nice and clean, I like it!
Pigmentation wise Nutri-Berry is pretty great. The usual lipgloss isn’t that pigmented, but this one definitely shows up on the lips. How nice is that?! The shimmer is visible, but it’s not overwhelming. It’s not too much, and that’s a very big plus point.
The lipgloss isn’t sticky and feels really nice and comfortable on the lips. It does feel like a lipgloss, I’m not going to lie about that, but it’s not a terrible product to wear when it comes to consistency.
The other colour I got is called Vital Violet. I wasn’t sure about this colour at first. It’s a really cool pink shade, almost lilac, and has shimmer to it just like Nutri-Berry does. Normally I don’t wear colours like this at all, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a stunning colour.
The applicator that comes with these glosses is very nice and easy to work with. It’s soft and it has the perfect shape. It isn’t too big but it’s not too small either. It makes the application process go super quick and easy and in my opinion that’s always a plus point.
Vital Violet is a little less pigmented than Nutri-Berry is, but it’s still a really pretty gloss. Because I use a soft box when I take photo’s the shimmer looks pretty intense, but in real life it’s not that case. It’s definitely visible, it’s more visible than the glitter in Nutri-Berry, but it’s not metallic or anything like that.
When it comes to staying power these glosses aren’t disappointing. Depending on how much you eat, drink and talk these glosses stay on for 2 to 4 hours. That’s not bad right?!
Overall I do like these two Neutrogena lipglosses. I’m excited I got the chance to give them a try, especially because it’s really hard to get your hands on Neutrogena makeup in the Netherlands. I do recommend them and I’m also really excited to try out some more Neutrogena makeup products.
Because I won these glosses I have no idea where to buy it and how much they are.
Thank you so much for reading today’s review and let me know if you have ever tried some of the Neutrogena makeup products and if so be sure to let me know how you like them!
XOXO, Nicole.
