It’s most certainly no secret that the Lush bath bombs are my favourite things in the whole wide world. I think they’re absolutely incredible and I can’t take a bath without them anymore. It’s an expensive kind of love, but it’s worth it to me. Anyway, I have tried plenty of Lush bath bombs by now to have formed a couple of really steady favourites. Therefore I thought it might be fun to share five of my absolute favourite bath bombs from Lush with you in today’s post. So, if you’re interested in finding out which five bath bombs from Lush I think are worth it the most, make sure you continue reading this post!
The very first bath bomb I want to give a shout out is the amazing Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb. I knew this was a very popular bath bomb when I first tried it, but I’m always quite sceptical about things that are popular. However, this bath bomb ended up actually exceeding my expectations. This bath bomb totally, and I mean totally, mesmerised me. It’s the most stunning this I’ve ever seen and I could have never imagined that this blue ball would create such a beautiful event in my bath tub.
The thing with the Intergalactic bath bomb is that it’s not just colour or whatever. It’s a combination of colour, golden glitter and a lot of beauty throughout the entire process of it dissolving. It starts with the blue but soon colours will spread and glitter will float through you tub. Once you’ve been sitting in the tub for a while those milky pieces will start to disappear, but the glitter will stay. Wherever you look you’ll see a galaxy-like view. I don’t know what I love most about this bath bomb, but I’m sure the golden glitter is high up the list.
Scent-wise I think Intergalactic is really nice as well. Normally I’m not crazy about minty scents, but somehow I really love what this smells like. It matches so well with the way it looks, it just works.

The second bath bomb that I adore very very much is the amazing Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb. It’s one of the most classic bath bombs Lush makes and I totally get why they keep making it. I’ve used this several times by now and it really is a staple for me. Whenever I’m in doubt of what to use, I’ll gravitate for Sex Bomb. Mainly because of the absolutely incredible scent, but definitely also because of what it looks like in the tub.
The Lush Sex Bomb scent is just something absolutely phenomenal. Launching a shower gel with the matching scent was a really, really good move but that’s not what this post is about. The scent of Sex Bomb is very floral, delicate but also very unique. It’s a warm and loving scent, a scent that makes me feel comfortable. It also has something luxurious to it. Long story short it’s just an absolute nose-gasm.
Sex Bomb is a rather quick fizzer and normally that’s not my favourite thing in bath bombs. However, in this case I don’t hate it at all. The bath art it creates isn’t crazily impressive, but the end result is really nice. The water turns into a stunning warm pink colour and the little rose that’s on top will float throughout the tub. It’s just amazing!

My third favourite is one that isn’t actually sold anymore but I still really needed to mention it as one of my five favourites because it really is. This is the Aubergine Bath Bomb from the Valentine’s Day collection of 2019. I discovered it pretty late down the road, but I ended up falling head over heels in love with it.
The first reason why I adore this bath bomb so much is because it carries the 29 High Street scent, the famous signature Lush store scent. You know that moment when you’re walking past a Lush store and your nose is just overflowing with the amazing scents of all of their products, well this is exactly what that smells like. I really can’t imagine not loving the way that smells. This is amazing.
The second reason why I’m so in love with the Aubergine Bath Bomb from Lush is because it’s just absolutely spectacular in the tub. This purple beauty puts up a big show. It’s colourful, it’s super glittery and it leaves you sitting in a shimmery purple coloured tub. I’m so mesmerised by the way it looks. I actually bought five back ups of it because I just couldn’t bare the thought of not having it anymore.

Next up on my favourites list is the Sakura Bath Bomb. I really think this is one of the most underrated bath bombs from Lush and it needs to get more attention. I never knew about its existence until one day I went to the Lush store, decided to buy it because “why not” and it left my entire room smelling like heaven.
Sakura might not be the most eye catching bath bomb out of the bunch, I can see why some people would think that, but the smell makes up for everything. I’m terrible at describing scents so I’d definitely recommend to just go ahead and smell it yourself, but it’s amazing. It’s like a very classy, feminine and floral scent. It’s very unique and very new. It’s definitely a pretty strong scent but I like that about it. I love to smell this all day long.
Sakura is definitely the bath bomb I’d buy for someone as a gift who has never tried Lush before. Okay, Sex Bomb is a great alternative too, but Sakura is by far one of the best scents I have ever smelled. Everyone I gifted this bath bomb has fallen in love with it as well so it’s just all over a big hit!

My last favourite bath bomb of the day is the Strawberries & Cream Bath Bomb from the Lush Harajuku launch. When I first saw it I already knew I was going to buy it and going to love it too. When I found out that the scent of this bath bomb was supposed to be similar to the American Cream scent I was even more convinced that this was going to be amazing for me. That’s one of my favourite scents from Lush. I use it in my hair, I use it on my body and now I can bathe with that very same scent. I can’t say anything else than: goals!!
Another thing I adore about the Strawberries & Cream Bath Bomb from Lush is the fact that it’s kind of like a bubbleroon but in bath bomb shape. This because it has the little creamy layer in between the two halfs of the bath bomb, just like bubbleroons do. This makes the bath a bit more moisturising than usual and that’s really nice.
To top that all off this bath bomb also creates really, really pretty bath art. It’s just a big stunner to look at. And all of that for a pretty affordable price, considering the fact that most bath bombs from Lush are around the €7 price mark by now I’m not mad at the €5,50 this one costs me.

And that brings us to the end of today’s post. I have tried and loved a ton of bath bombs from Lush, but these are by far my five favourites. The ones I gravitate towards all of the time and the ones I can’t live without. I genuinely wouldn’t be mad if I could only use these three bath bombs for the rest of my life.
Anyway, thank you guys so much for reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which bath bombs from Lush are your absolute holy grails!
O MY LORD! Hoe heb je nog nooit Sex Bomb en Intergalactic geprobeerd. Van alle vijf zijn dat sowieso gewoon de 2 must tries!!!!!! Heftig zeg!
