It’s not like I had no Lush product left anymore. It’s just that Lush recently launched their holiday collection and I do tend to love holiday collections. Oh and they also launched a halloween collection to make it even more difficult for me. Long story short I spent hours and hours online deciding on what to get from these two brand new collections and I ended up buying 43 products!! Yes you’re reading that right: fourty-three products. Let’s not waste too many words and dive right into it!
Okay, I’m going to start off with the halloween collection. From the halloween collection I bought pretty much every bath product except fun. I’m not really into fun. However, I am very into bath bombs and bubble bars so I went wild on that section.
First off I got two of the Bewitched Bubble Bars. I didn’t get my hands on it last year and since it looks so flippin’ adorable I decided to just get two of them. I can’t wait to use these! I also bought two Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bars. I have used these before and they are autumn in a tub. Of course I needed to get two of those! Who am I kidding?!
Then I bought all four bath bombs from that same collection. Starting with the Mercury Retrograde Bath Bomb, which looks amazing in the tub. I got two Monster Ball’s. I mean, it’s pink. And I also got the amazing Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb and the Punkin’ Pumpkin Bath Bomb. That last one was a bit of a rash decision (that I don’t hate).
Moving on to the few products I got from the main collection, just to get them over with. I restocked my favourite Intergalactic Bath Bomb and the amazing Avobath Bath Bomb. I also got the Bubblegum Lip Scrub that I’ve been eyeing for so long. I mean, if you’re spending a lot, why not add one more thing you know?
Lastly from the main collection I got the ‘new’ Angel Hair Shampoo Bar and a tin to store it in. I have never tried the shampoo bars from Lush before and I hear they are really nice so I wanted to try it out. It’s been on my wishlist for a while now so I’m glad I finally managed to buy it. Or well, managed…
Let’s quickly move on to the most exciting part of this haul: the Christmas goodies. I’m a huge, huge, huge fan of the snow fairy scent so I definitely stocked up on the Snow Fairy Shower Gel. I got two 250 gram bottles. I decided to go for two medium ones instead of one 500 gram one since those really big ones are impossible to store.
I also got the matching Snow Fairy Body Conditioner. I’m so in love with this scent and this body conditioner is just the best thing ever. It’s literally the most moisturising product I own and I totally love it to pieces. One thing though: I really don’t like the new packaging on this one. I much prefer the old black pots.
Also for body care I got the new Snowflake Body Lotion. It might be because the word ‘snow’ is in the name, but this sounds like an amazing product to me. Another product that sounded amazing to me was this new Candy Cane Toothpaste Jelly. I mean look at it. I really can’t wait to give this a try!
The last non-bath product from the Christmas collection I bought is the Rudolph’s Nose Shower Bomb. I usually am not crazy about shower bombs, but it looked adorable and I felt like I had to try at least one of them!
Okay, let’s move on to the bath stuff. Starting with some products that we already know from last years’ collection. First of all I got two Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bombs. It looks flippin’ stunning and I heard so many great things about it. I also bought the Golden Wonder Bath Bomb. I still have one from last year, but I’m sure I’d love to use it one more time this year.
A big favourite from last year was the Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb. I discovered it pretty late so I only got to use it twice, so I’m really glad it’s back this year. It looks stunning and I love the golden stars in it. I actually got one more from my mom for my graduation. Love that!
The last familiar bath bomb I bought from the Christmas range is the World’s Smallest Disco Bath Bomb. I also still have one of these from last year, but having another one definitely doesn’t hurt right?
Aside from the bath bombs that have returned, Lush came out with a ton of new bath bombs as well. Starting with the Rudolph Bath Bomb. It’s a tiny one but it looks adorable. Totally up my alley. Another tiny but cute bath bomb I got is the Not So Secret Santa Bath Bomb. When I saw just the picture of it, it looked pretty boring to me. However, when I saw what it did in the tub I knew I had to have it.
Another bath bomb I’m really excited about is the Snowman Dreaming Bath Bomb. It doesn’t only look stunning in the tub, but this scent is amazing. I’m so in love with it! And it’s one of the more affordable bath bombs as well. It’s a definite winner for me!
Next up is a bath bomb I didn’t intend to buy, but bought anyway. It’s the Chris The Camel Bath Bomb. I didn’t find that it looked super Christmassy, but it does. And I’m glad I bought it. Lastly I bought two Snowfairy Bath Bombs. I actually bought one more in store before this order arrived and I have used it already. And guess what: it’s absolutely amazing! I’m definitely going to stock up on it!
Aside from bath bombs I also got some bubble bars from the Christmas range. I have to say that Lush didn’t launch that many bubble bars this year in their Christmas collection, but luckily they did bring back my two absolute favourites: Magic Wand Reusable Bubble bar and the amazing Candy Cane Bubble Bar. I bought two Magic Wands and I’m intending on getting more in the future and I got four Candy Canes. I love them so much!
I also bought one new bubble bar, the Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bar. This is, again, one of those products I initially didn’t want to buy but bought anyway. I think it’s because it looks so darn cute. But in terms of colour I thought it was pretty basic.
And after all of that we are nearing the end of this haul. There is just one last thing that I bought that I want to show you guys. It’s a gift set. The Santa’s Grotto Gift Set. It comes in a really adorable looking tin and that’s basically why I wanted to buy it. What’s inside is really amazing too.
Inside this gift set is the Santa’s Grotto Bath Bomb, which looks stunning. You also get a Warm Sock Bath Oil, the Santa Reusable Bubble Bar, the Fireball Bath Bomb, another Candy Cane Bubble Bar and lastly another Not So Secret Santa Bath Bomb. In these gift sets you always pay a little extra for the packaging. But because this packaging is so cute I decided to just go for it.
And well, that concludes my big Lush Halloween and Christmas Haul. I am super excited about every single product I bought. It was definitely a big challenge photographing every item, but it was worth it. I can’t wait to try everything out!
