Lately I’ve been thinking about doing some more original posts on my blog instead of just reviews. Mainly because I’m trying to shop less and therefore I don’t have as much products to review, but also because I like being a little bit more creative. For today’s post I thought it would be really fun to to like an alphabet challenge where I mention a favourite product for every letter in the alphabet. So, that’s what I’m doing today. If you’re interested in finding out which products I love the most, make sure you continue reading!
A – Almond Milk & Honey Body Yoghurt by The Body Shop
B – Bioderma Crealine H20 Solution Micellaire
I actually had a lot of trouble thinking of what I’d choose to be my B-favourite because I had a lot to choose from. In the end I decided to go for Bioderma because Bioderma and I go way, way back. It’s something that I’ve literally used non-stop ever since I discovered it and no similar product ever has been able to beat it. I’m just a huge, huge fan of this product!
C – Chloe Perfumes
D – Dior
I think it’s no secret that Dior is by far my favourite brand in the entire beauty industry. I don’t really know why because back in the day I wasn’t so impressed by their makeup. However, these days I can’t get enough of them. I think that the quality of their products is just mind blowing and everything looks so pretty. I can’t get enough of it!
E – Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminating Powder Gelee
I think that Estée Lauder is one of the most underrated brands in the beauty industry. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I almost never read anything about their products. Whenever I’m thinking about buying a piece of makeup from the brand I actually have a hard time finding reviews about it. That’s pretty crazy in a world where beauty blogs are everywhere. I know that their foundations is really popular, but aside from that I hardly ever see it on any blog. And I don’t get why. For example this highlighter is just the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. I think it’s so amazing and the quality of it is incredible!
F – Fenty Beauty
G – Goof Proof Brow Pencil by Benefit
This you guys is the best brow pencil I have ever tried. I’ve actually already used up two or three of them and I’m still repurchasing it every time I run out. Ever since I first tried it two years ago I am in love. It’s just the most easy to use brow pencil with the most stunning results. I think it’s just phenomenal.
H – Hourglass
I – Instant Look In A Palette by Charlotte Tilbury
I bought these two palettes I believe a summer ago and I’ve been loving them ever since. I was inspired to buy these by watching some makeup artists on Youtube use them. They seemed like the perfect palette for on the go and the quality seemed really amazing. Having tried them for over a year now I can confidently say so that they are in fact amazing and definitely worth splurging on if you’re someone who’s in a hurry most of the time.
J – Jouer
K – Kitten by Stila
Kitten was one of the first shades ever that I was like really crazy about. I had loved other eyeshadows before, but not as much as Kitten. It was like my perfect shade for everyday and when I finally got it I wore it literally every single day. I still think it’s the most beautiful eyeshadow on earth and I’d love to have like a big, big pan full of it.
L – Lancome concealer
M – Maybelline Color Tattoo in On And On Bronze
N – Naked Palette
I know that the hype has been long gone when it comes to the (original) naked palettes from Urban Decay, but you guys, I still love them to death. I’m actually wearing one right now, while I’m writing this post. I just think that these palettes were very revolutionary in the beauty world. They changed the game. They made me go from single shadows to palettes and they opened up so many doors. I love it!
O – Origins
P – Perfection Lumiere Foundation by Chanel
This foundation was the first ever Chanel foundation I bought. I believe it actually was one of my first Chanel products in general. This made me discover how amazing Chanel is at foundations and it resulted in my collection most of their foundations. There are still a few on my wishlist, but this definitely is one of my favourites out of the ones I have. It has amazing coverage, looks natural and keeps me matte all day long without making me look dull.
Q – QVC
Another very underrated thing is QVC. I’ve been shopping on QVC for years now and at some point I’m sure I was pretty addicted to it. QVC offers a lot of amazing makeup brands that aren’t available elsewhere in the Netherlands and they do it in an amazing way. They always have these amazing sets, deals and whatnot that allow you to get a lot of high-quality products for a decent price. I don’t know why you’d say no to that!
R – Rituals Shower Oils
S – Stila Eyes Are The Window
I have bought and used a ton of absolutely incredible eyeshadow palettes in my makeup wearing life, however this palette still is the very best one I ever bought. I read a lot of not too positive reviews about it, but it really is my favourite. It comes with the most stunning colours ever and it’s just so perfect for everyday makeup. I’ll love this palette for ever and ever.
T – Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Palette
U – United Wardrobe
This might not be a beauty product or brand but you guys, I just love this app. I’ve been using it for years now and I do have phases in which I shop more and less on in. But in the end I just love everything about it. I have bought so many amazing, unique pieces from with for the best prices and I’ve also sold a lot on it. I really think this is an essential app these days!
V – Vera Camila
This also isn’t a beauty product or brand, but it’s a beauty blogger. It’s one of the only beauty bloggers from back in the day who still loves makeup as much as she did back then and she is so pure and honest. She’s by far one of my favourites!
W – Warsaw
X – Xmas?
I know this one is a little bit weak but well, I do really love Christmas. And I couldn’t really come up with anything that started with x. Sorry guys, but Christmas is amazing!
Y – Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium
Ever since I bought this perfume I am in love with it. It’s such an amazing and perfect scent for everyday. It’s sweet, but not too young and it’s very feminine. It’s strong but not in a way it will give you a headache. IT’s just the perfect scent for me and therefore it has been my signature scent for almost a year now!
Z – Zoeva
Well, I think that’s it then. I have to admit that it was a lot harder than I thought to actually find things with every letter of the alphabeth. I did want to challenge myself by not taking out the difficult letters like the Q and X for example, which did result in some slightly weaker faves, but I still think I did a great job!
That will be it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post, and be sure to let me know if we have some favourites in common! I’d love to read about that!
