Recently I reviewed a couple of products by Miss Sporty. A brand I’ve known of forever, but never actually tried. Today I have even more products from the brand that I want to review. All of these products are from the Insta Glow collection and they’re all face products. So, if you’re interested in finding out more about these products, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with primer. This is the Insta Glow Primer Perfect & Radiant Complexion. It comes in a very fun and girly tube with white and pink all over it. I really like the design of it. It’s young, it’s fun and it’s girly. I also like the fact that it comes in a tube rather than a jar or whatever since it’s convenient and hygienic.
The primer has a pinky tone to it which will add a luminous effect to the skin. Aside from adding the glow to the complexion it’s also supposed to make your makeup stay in place longer. Overall I can agree with those claims. The primer definitely adds a healthy glow to the skin which I think is absolutely gorgeous and when it comes to making the makeup last longer it does a pretty good job too. I wouldn’t say it’s the best primer in the world when it comes to prolonging the wear time of your makeup, but I do really like the glow it adds to the complexion.

Next up is the Insta Glow Liquid Concealer. It’s one of those twisty concealers with a little brush on top. It reminds me of one I tried a long time ago by Essence. I really liked that. I really like this type of concealer in general. The concealer comes in a small selection of shades and I got the shade 002, which is a tad bit too dark for my skintone.
The Insta Glow Liquid Concealer is supposed to be a great under eye concealer. It’s supposed to hide your under eye circles and make you look like you’ve slept very, very well. I have to say that for a under eye concealer it’s pretty great. The coverage is medium and that’s okay. Sadly I do have pretty dark under eye circles and it isn’t capable of covering all of that up, but my Nars concealer can’t do that either.

The next product we’re discussing is the Insta Glow Mosaic Face Powder in the shade 002 Luminous Medium. This is one of those gorgeous powders with different shades in it. When you mix it together it turns into the perfect shade for all over the face. Usually the second shade up is way too dark for me, but this one seems to be pretty okay.
The powder consists of about four different shades. There are white parts, yellowy parts, tan coloured parts and chocolate coloured parts. Together they create a neutral skintone shade, perfect for people with light to medium complexions.

The texture of the powder is really nice. It’s very soft and silky and it’s not super powdery either. It doesn’t make my face look extremely cakey like most of my current favourite powders kinda do and that’s a great thing. It looks rather natural but it does manage to keep my face from getting shiny all day. I love it!
Overall I’m really impressed by this powder. I did think it was a nice and interesting product at first sight, but I never expected it to be as amazing as it actually is. I’ll definitely continue using it!
Onto the blush. This is the Miss Sporty Insta Glow Blusher in the shade 004 Glowing Mauve. Before I jump into anything let’s first say that I don’t think this is mauve. I don’t think the name is very fitting. I don’t know what is up with Miss Sporty and their product names. I do really like their names, they are very original and fun, but they just don’t fit the product very well in my opinion.
With that being said let’s move on to the product. The Insta Glow blusher comes in a very basic but nice packaging. It’s mainly clear and it says Insta Glow on the front. I like it when blushes are packaged in clear packagings because you immediately know what shade you’re dealing with.
Insta Glow Blusher 004 Glowing Mauve – €3,59
The shade Glowing Mauve is just absolutely stunning. It might look a little out there and scary from the packaging, but when applied with a light hand it can perfectly be used as an everyday blush. The blush is called Glowing Mauve, which suggests that there is some sort of sheen to this blush. Usually I’m more a fan of rather matte blushes, but in this case I like the glow. I like it because it’s glowy rather than sparkly.
The texture of the blush is great. It’s not as nice as the texture of the Mosaic Powder because it’s a little more powdery, but it’s not bad at all. It’s also intensely pigmented but still pretty easy to work with. The only thing you really have to keep in mind while working with this blush is that you tap off the access product and use a light hand when you apply it to the face. If you don’t you might end up looking like a doll. And I don’t mean that in a good way.
Here are the swatches of all products mentioned above. It was very hard for me to get the Mosaic Powder to show up since the colour is so close to my actual skintone, but at least I tried. As you can tell the blush is pretty intense, but towards the end of the swatch you can see that it can be worn in a way more natural way. It all depends on how much product you take onto the brush and how much pressure you put on it while putting it on your face.
Before we move on to the last product, I first want to talk about the texture of the Insta Glow Concealer. If that doesn’t look incredibly appealing to you, I don’t know what does. The texture is very soft and smooth and rich and it’s so easy to work with. It’s definitely a great product!
Lastly let’s talk about the Miss Sporty Insta Glow Flawless & Luminous Complexion Foundation. This foundation comes in a number of shades. I’ve got two: 001 Ivory and 002 Light. Usually drugstore brands don’t carry my shade, but to my surprise both of these shades are incredibly light. I even think that just 001 Ivory on its own might be too light for me. And keep in mind that I’ve never, ever, found a foundation that is too light for me.
The Insta Glow Foundation is supposed to cover up your imperfections and add a natural finish to the skin. In my opinion that’s a perfect description of what this product does. It has light to medium, but buildable, coverage and it has a very natural and luminous finish. I love it!
Insta Glow Flawless & Luminous Complexion Foundation – €4,99
As you can tell the foundation did manage to cover up most of my imperfections. For the record: on the first pictures I’m wearing nothing but eyebrow pencil, on the second picture I’m wearing the foundation and on the last picture I’m wearing the foundation, concealer, mosaic powder and blusher.
The foundation was very easy to work with. It has a really nice and blendable texture which makes it so quick and easy to work with. It’s definitely one of those foundations you can just slap on your face without having to worry about it and therefore I also think it’s great for those of you who’re just starting off with makeup.
As for staying power I think this foundation does a very decent job. Especially in combination with the primer it holds up pretty well throughout the day and all of that for such a small amount of money. I have to say I’m not disappointed at all. I haven’t had a good experience with pretty much any low budget foundation ever, but this one I actually enjoy using. That does mean a lot to me!
Overall I’m impressed by the quality of these Insta Glow products. The primer is great for adding a luminous look to the skin and getting that healthy glow. The foundation is perfect for natural days and covers up all of my imperfections perfectly. The concealer is great for under eye circles, but it will still look natural, and I’m obsessed with the mosaic powder and the blusher. Those two products have definitely become favourites of mine!
