Miss Dior Eau De Parfum

08/02/2019

One of the things I got for Christmas is this amazingly gorgeous Dior perfume. It’s the Miss Dior Eau De Parfum. My mom gifted me this and I’m so, so, so happy about that. Last year I bought theĀ Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming scent and ever since then I’ve been meaning to try the original Miss Dior perfume as well. So, now that I finally have it, I have been using it a ton. I’ve actually been using it on a daily basis the past couple of weeks. Because of that I felt like it was about time for me to review this little guy. So, if you want to read more about the really pretty looking Miss Dior perfume, make sure you continue reading this post!

Like all Miss Dior perfumes, this perfume comes in an adorable looking bottle. The bottle is made out of glass and looks super luxurious. It has a rectangular bottom and a cap with a silver bow on it. This makes it look like a little gift. It’s so super cute and I think that’s just a great detail. Another thing I really like about the packaging is the little thing in the middle where it says Miss Dior. It’s made out of paper and you can feel that. It feels very luxurious and chique and I just like that detail a lot. I also like that there’s not too much going on, on the bottle itself. It just says what it is and that’s it. I love that.

The Miss Dior perfume comes in different sizes and editions. There’s a Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming perfume, a Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and the regular Miss Dior perfume. All three have this base of Miss Dior and the two non-original ones have a bit of a twist to them. The Miss Dior perfume comes in three sizes: 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml. The one I got is the 30 ml version. Because the perfume is nice and strong this bottle will last you for ages. At least that’s my experience with it. However, if you know you’re a big fan, maybe the bigger sizes will be more appealing to you. On the Dior website I also saw they have a 150 ml version, I’m guessing this is exclusive to their website but correct me if I’m wrong about that.

Miss Dior Eau De Parfum 30 ml – €70,50

Miss Dior is a very famous and well-loved perfume and I totally get why. I’m a women who loves luxury. I’m not rich so I will have to settle with something luxurious smelling. But that’s enough for me. I really love Dior so that obviously plays a role in my love for this perfume as well, but putting that aside I think this is a great daily perfume for me. It has that feminine, luxurious smell to it and it just hits every bar right in my opinion. It truly is one of the most best smelling perfumes so far. I’m very picky with perfumes and especially with signature scents, so the fact that this was able to defeat my beloved Chloe and YSL scents, that means a lot. A whole lot.

According to Dior their Miss Dior Eau De Parfum this new Miss Dior perfume reveals the femininity of a sensual floral. Its heart is a floral declaration that combines the beauty for Grasse rose with the boldness of Damascus rose, both wrapped in a ribbon of fresh notes of Calabrian bergamot. This handcrafted creation is woven with rosewood from French Guiana and pink pepper from Reunion Island for heightened character. A Miss Dior that will leave you lovestruck.

The way they describe the scent makes it sound very magical to me. They make it sound like it’s a very premium rosy scent and I love that there’s bergamot in there too. Rose and bergamot are definitely two of my favourite scents and I think they work really well together. I feel like that, because of the bergamot, it’s not just a rosy scent, it’s way more than that. So even if you don’t love the scent of roses, I don’t think you necessarily have to dislike this scent.

Dior also tells us that, on a scale from 1 to 5 this has an intensity of 2 points. I do like that they give an indication of the intensity of the perfume because I feel like that’s one of the most important things about a scent. If something is too intense it causes me headaches and I will end up not wearing it, but if it’s not intense at all I think it’s a bit of a waste of money to buy such an expensive product. For me the intensity of this perfume is just right. It’s definitely more intense than more affordable perfumes and therefore it also has a longer lifetime, but it’s not too overwhelming. I did get slight headaches from the Absolutely Blooming version but I don’t experience that with this original Miss Dior perfume at all. And that does make me really happy because I’m absolutely in love with this scent.

I know this might sound weird, but sometimes wearing a perfume can give me some kind of feeling. And this perfume makes me feel very feminine, fancy and also a bit more confident. Not in a way I need this to feel good about myself, but when I’m wearing this I’m confident I smell good and that does give me some kind of boost. I also think it’s a very unique scent and I have noticed that people around me noticed I’m wearing something different. And luckily for me they like it. This scent is a lot different from any other perfume I have in my collection, and trust me, I have a lot. It’s so special to me.

All in all this Miss Dior Eau De Parfum really impressed me. I’m a huge fan of Dior so obviously I did expect to like it, but it’s actually really amazing. It exceeded my expectations. I’m in love with the cute design of the bottle, I mean how cute is the little bow! And I love the scent itself too. I’m a fan of the scent of roses and this is that, but with a twist to that. It’s very unique. It also has the right amount of intensity and it is very longlasting. Yup, I love it and I highly recommend giving it a little sniff yourself if you see it in stores!

With that being said I think it’s time to end today’s post. Thank you so much for reading it and be sure to let me know which scent you’re currently loving and why!
