If this month didn’t go by way to quickly I don’t know what life you’re living but tell me your secret. Seriously it went by way to quickly. Anyway, March has been a pretty strange month for me. At the start everything was pretty calm and relaxed, but later on in the month things started to get busy and stressful. With exams coming up I’m loaded with stress. But that’s not what we’re going to be talking about in today’s post. In today’s post I’m going to show you guys which products I have been loving throughout the month of March. If you’re interested in finding out which products have become favourites of mine, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with a non-beauty favourite. This is the golden heart necklace by KAYA Jewellery. She sent me this in order me to review and I have to say that I love it! It’s very dainty, girly and elegant and I really like that about it. I also like the materials it is made out of, it feels very well made and overall I think it’s a gorgeous piece of jewellery.
Like I told you guys in the post regarding this piece, KAYA Jewellery donates a part of the profit they make on the jewellery to children in Gambia so they can go to school. I think that that makes the whole piece even more beautiful, knowing that children have a future thanks to them.
Next up are some actual makeup favourites. I’ve mentioned the fact that I love these products multiple time on my blog by now, but I’m going to do it again today. I absolutely adore the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. This adds such a gorgeous glow to the skin without making me look oily or greasy at all. It changes every slightly too matte foundation into a gorgeous healthy looking foundation and I love it. Aside from that I also really like the smell.
Another Becca product I have been loving is the Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme. It took me a while to decide whether or not I actually liked it and whether or not I thought it was worth the money, but in the end I can happily say it is. This foundation has such amazing coverage and it looks so natural on the skin. It does make me look like a little porcelain doll but in a good way. It’s the best!
The last Becca favourite for now is the Becca Brightening Corrector. I use this underneath my eyes before I use concealer and it makes such a big difference, it’s actually insane. It brightens and lightens up my under eye area and makes my dark circles disappear in seconds. It’s the best corrector in the world!
Moving on to a few budget favourites. It has been a while since I mentioned affordable products in my favourites posts, but I’m glad I found some products I actually enjoy using now. The first product I want to talk to you about is the Essence Forbidden Volume mascara. I bought this because I really needed a new mascara but I didn’t feel like spending the money and it turned out to be my absolutely favourite mascara ever. It creates volume, length and curl all at once. It’s great!
I also fell in love with the Miss Sporty Mosaic Powder. I have always loved the look of mosaic powders, but I’ve never actually used one as a face powder. When I started using this one I did have some expectations, but they weren’t insanely high. In the end it turned out to be amazing. It mattifies my skin without a problem without making my skin look overly powdery or cakey. It’s great!
Another budget fave of mine is the NYC Show Time Volume Mascara. It’s the first NYC mascara I’ve ever used (I believe) and it is a great one. This mascara has a really nice wand that allows you to be in control and it adds tons of volume and length to the lashes. It’s also great at separating them and it keeps them looking gorgeous all day. It’s a great budget find if you ask me!
From budget to luxury. My next favourite is the gorgeous Diorskin Nude Foundation. The last few months every favourite post has had a Dior product in it and this months favourites post isn’t an exception. I bought this because it had been on my wishlist for a while and I haven’t regretted it at all. This is one of the most gorgeous natural looking foundations I have ever tried. It’s natural, the colour is stunning and it covers up all of my imperfections. If there’s one Dior foundation I’d recommend it has got to be this one!
Next up is a body lotion. Or actually two body lotions. These are the Nivea Sensual Body Lotions in the scents Red Berries (but it smells a little rosy) and Vanilla. I also have it in the scent Peach Flowers but that one is currently at my BF’s place. Anyway, all three body lotions have a really nice texture that does moisturise the body really well but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. All three scents are absolutely incredible which makes me love them even more and overall they’re just great.
My last favourites are the three products I’ve tried from the L’Oreal Delicate Flowers collection and the L’Oreal Clays Exfoliating Gel. I feel like I’ve talked way too much about these products lately but I’m just surprised by how amazing they are for such a good price. These products make my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth and I really, really love them!
And that basically concludes today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which products have become favourites of yours throughout the month of March!
XOXO, Nicole.
