A few months ago I bought my first Lush toner water. That time I bought the Eau Roma Water. Now, after about 6 months I decided to get myself another one. This time I went for the famous Tea Tree Water. Today it’s time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out whether or not this one is just as amazing as the other one I have tried, make sure you continue reading!
The Lush Toner Waters come in two sizes: 100 g and 250 g. Back when I bought my first one I was way too excited and immediately went for the big version, but this time I decided to buy a smaller bottle. The bottle is, like we’re used to from lush, almost entirely black and has white text on it. I like the way it looks.
The thing that makes these Toner Waters by Lush so different from other toners is first of all the fact that these come in spray bottles. This way you can either just spray it straight on your face or you can spray it onto a cotton pad and then apply it to your face. You can use it whichever way you prefer!
This Tea Tree Water is especially made for people who struggle with blemishes and clogged pores. That because the tea tree in it works anti-bacterial and prevents you from getting blemished skin. I currently do have a few blemishes and overall I have pretty oily skin so this product should be perfect for my skin type.
Throughout the years I have used quite a few tea tree products. The one thing that most of them had in common was that they smelled really, really bad. Like seriously bad. This product however isn’t that bad. It actually smells pretty okay. You can smell a hint of tea tree in it, but it’s not remotely as bad smelling as the other tea tree products I have used.
The product itself is just basically water. It feels and looks like water. Obviously it has something more to it than just water, but I guess that’s pretty self explanatory. Once applied to the skin it gives a slight tingling sensation and it makes the skin feel very fresh and clean. It’s not overly tingly in a way it’s getting rather uncomfortable so that’s definitely a plus.
When it comes to actually clearing my skin and getting rid of blemishes I think it does quite a good job. I have a very big pimple on my chin at the moment and yesterday night I applied a bit of this product on that and by the next morning it has shrunk quite a bit. It’s not a product that will completely clear your skin overnight, but I don’t think you should expect that from anything. For me this product works really, really well!
Overall I think this Lush Tea Tree Water is just as amazing as the Eau Roma Water, maybe even more amazing than that one. It does what it’s supposed to do and it feels really nice on the skin. If you have blemished skin I’d definitely recommend giving this product a try, it might just be what you’re looking for.
The Lush Tea Tree Toner Water is available online and in stores for €6,95 (100gr).
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know if you have given any of the lush toner waters a try, and if so let me know which one is your favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.
