Lush is known for their amazing naked products. Or at least I think they are. And a while ago they launched an entire range of naked skincare. To me this sounds like the best idea ever because these days packagings are for losers. We can definitely live without them and Lush is proving that to us. But long story short, I bought one of the Lush Naked Cleansing Balms. I actually bought another one first, but this one is the first one I actually tried so that’s why it will be reviewed first. I’m obviously talking about the adorable Lush Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm and if you want to read more about this cutiepetudie, make sure you continue reading this post. That does usually help.
Like I said, the Lush Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm is a naked product and part of their ‘new’ naked skincare range. This range comes with a number of naked cleansers and naked facial oils. So far I have purchased the Amazon Primer Naked Facial Oil, the Like A Virgin Naked Cleansing Balm and the product I’m reviewing today, the Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm. A cleansing balm does sound very interesting to me. I know cleansing balms from like the famous Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and the The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter, but I know nothing like this Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm. It’s just a little bundle of joy in the same of a thick coin.
The Naked Cleansing Balm collection from Lush consists out of five different cleansers. There’s the Gritty Polliti (lightly exfoliating), the Tea Tree Totaler (clearifying), Jade Roller (weird, jk it’s massaging and clearifying), Like A Virgin (cold cream cleanser) and the Sleepy Face (calming and hydrating). I ended up getting Sleepy Face because it looked really adorable to me and I love anything that’s soft and friendly to my skin.
The Naked Cleansing Balms are actually very affordable. They aren’t necessarily big, but I do think they will last you for a proper amount of time. I store mine in one of the Lush Shampoo Bar tins, but you can store them whichever way you prefer.
Lush Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm – €5,95/£4,95
According to Lush their Sleepy Face Cleansing Balm is supposed to be super calming, relaxing and soft for the skin. It should leave you with pillow-soft skin. It’s filled with great ingredients like cocoa and shea butter and also jojoba oil and almond oil. Actually all ingredients in this cleanser are natural ingredients and that’s pretty darn cool to me! Good job Lush!
My experience with the Lush Sleepy Naked Cleansing Balm is pretty darn positive. I’m really impressed by how well it works for me. I just rub it in between my hands so it warms up and some product will transfer onto my hands. Then I put the balm back in the tin and massage the balm all over my face using my hands. You can use it to remove makeup, but it works really well for cleansing makeup-free skin as well.
The thing I love about the Sleepy Cleansing Balm is that -compared to Like A Virgin– it’s not super greasy or oily at all. It’s much more lightweight and easy to remove from your face. It doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy residue. But on the other hand it’s not drying at all. And that’s probably the main thing I dig so much when it comes to the Lush Cleansing Balms. Unlike most cleansing products, they’re actually nice and hydrating. And also very effective. It literally removes all of my makeup!
All in all I feel like the Lush Sleepy Naked Cleansing Balm is a pretty darn amazing skincare product. It’s packaging free which I think is incredible, and it’s also super good. It’s easy to use, it’s not greasy but it is hydrating and it’s super effective when it comes to removing makeup and/or cleansing your skin. This is definitely one of my favourite skincare products as for now and therefore I recommend giving it a try!
And that brings us to the end of today’s post. Thank you guys so much for reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of the Lush naked cleansing balms!
