Yesterday in my haul I showed you guys that I bought my first ever Lush toner. It’s the Eau Roma Water. I really wanted to give one of their toners a try and it ended up being this one. After testing it thoroughly, it’s time for me to share my thoughts about it. If you’re interested in finding out more about this toner, make sure you continue reading!
The Lush Eau Roma Water toner comes in a big black bottle. There’s also a smaller one available, but I decided to go all out and get the big version. The bottle is quite big and heavy and looks very Lush-like. It’s a typical Lush packaging because of the black packaging, the white handwritten-like text and the sticker with the face of the producer of the product.
I do really like packaging. My favourite part is the fact that it has a spray thingy instead of a hole. This way you can easily spray the product onto your face and there’s no need to use a cotton pad or whatever. You can however, if you want that, use a cotton pad. You can spray it on the pad and wipe your face with it or you can spray it directly onto the skin and wipe it off with the pad. But that’s up to you obviously.
The Lush Eau Roma Water toner is a toner made for sensitive skin, which is what made me want to try this one so bad. Most toners tend to be super aggressive and drying and I was curious to find out if this one was any different.
And surprisingly enough it is quite a mild toner. It’s definitely okay to use if you have more sensitive skin, but of course those who don’t have sensitive skin can use it as well. The thing with it is, is that it’s just not as drying. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling way too tight, but it does take away the excess oils and dirt.
The thing I love about Lush products is that there’s no crap in them. Of course there might be a little ingredient here and there that isn’t the best, but overall Lush does create products with great ingredients. This toner for example doesn’t have straight up alcohol in it (it does have a form of alcohol in it, but not the alcohol most toners do), which is quite unusual for a toner and it has rose and lavender water in it.
Because of the rose and lavender water this is a very calming and caring product. It makes the skin feel really soft, silky and super clean. It’s definitely capable of removing 90% of your makeup without being irritating.
Overall I’m a huge fan of this toner. I’m really glad I decided to give this one a chance because it’s such a one of a kind toner. It’s not drying, it does take away the excess oil and it leaves the skin feeling really soft, clean and super, super smooth. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The Lush Eau Roma Water Toner is available at the Lush stores and online for ā¬13,25 (250 gr) and ā¬6,95 (100 gr).
That was it for today, I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know if you have any experience with Lush skincare products!

JA Lush is zo fijn! Ik moet ook nog eens aan de toner, maar Lush heeft daar ook weer te veel keuze in :O (Als je met ‘whole’ gat bedoelt moet het ‘hole’ zijn š )
