About two or three weeks ago I unboxed my first LF Beauty Box the September edition with you guys and today it’s time to open my second box: the October edition. The theme of the October box is Pamper so I think it’s going to be filled with lots of great and luxury products that are great for a bit of me-time! If you’re just as curious to see what’s inside as I am, make sure you continue reading!
Before we jump into the products let’s first discuss the box. The box is made out of pretty strong cardboard and is powder pink. I think that the colour of the box matches really well with the theme of this month (obviously) and I’m a big fan of it. It looks girly, it looks sweet and it’s just stunning.
I know it’s just a box but for some reason I just get really excited about it. I really like it when things come in pretty packagings and these boxes are actually very useful!
The first product in this month’s box is the Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner in the shade Cabernet. This is the most natural shade out of the three possibilities so I’m really glad I received this one. It looks really pretty and perfect for an autumnal day.
The thing that made me most excited about this product is that it’s a full size product by an amazing well-loved brand. I’m excited to see whether or not it will be actually waterproof!
The Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner costs €17,45.
The next product that came in this month’s box is the Oskia Renaisaarnce Mask. I personally never heard of this brand before but according to the unboxing videos I watched and the little magazine that comes with the box it’s quite a well known brand and it’s supposed to be quite good.
The mask comes in a little jar and I really like that about it. It shows that it’s more than just a basic cheap mask. The mask itself smells really good and has a nice texture as well. I’m very excited to give it a try!
The Oskia Renaissance Mask costs €60,45 (50 ml), this is 12 ml so €14,51.
Next up we have the Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Intense Oil Creme Pre-Shampoo Treatment. That’s quite a mouth full but from what I understand it’s just a pre-shampoo. I have never heard of a pre-shampoo but I think it’s similar to a hair mask but instead of only using it in the ends of the hair you can use this all over.
Considering the theme of this month’s box; pamper, I think it’s quiet a suitable product to receive. It’s luxurious, it’s unique and it’s perfect for your pampering routine!
The Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Intense Oil Creme Pre-Shampoo costs €32,95 (125 ml), this is 25 ml so €6,59.
Onto the fourth product in this month’s box, the Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak. The packaging looks kind of ugly but I do like that it comes in a small bottle with a lid that kind of flips up. It’s a bath soak made with ingredients that help relax you and therefore it’s a perfect product to use during some me-time when you take a nice hot bath and want to get into that relaxing state of mind.
The product is bright green and smells very strongly. I tried using it as a shower gel but that didn’t turn out to be as good of an idea as I thought, but it did make me feel very relaxed.
The Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak costs €31,95 (200 ml), this is 53 ml so €8,47.
The second last product that came inside this months box is the Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel. From what I understand this is some sort of treatment that creates and environmental shield. You have to put it onto your skin, let it sit for 10 minutes and rinse it off. What it’s supposed to protect you from isn’t very clear from the box but it looks quite promising.
I have heard of the brand Murad before and it always seemed like a cool brand to me so I’m really grateful this month’s box came with a product by that brand. I’m excited to put it to the test!
The Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel costs €60,45 (50 ml), this is 10 ml so €12,09.
The very last product in this month’s box is one of my favourites. It’s the Poláar The Genuine Lapland Cream Lip Balm. It comes in an adorable little tube that reminds me of christmas and it smells really nice. Lip balms are always welcome in my house so I’m really glad it came in this box.
I really like that the unknown brands that I do receive in this box are very high quality brands and not some sort of cheapish ripoff that no one really wants to use. This is something I’m genuinely excited about and something that definitely comes in handy at this time of year.
The Poláar The Genuine Lapland Cream Lip Balm costs €11,90 (15 gr), this is 10 ml so about €5,-.
Total worth: €64,11!
Overall I’m really happy about this month’s box. I like that the box is pink and I also really like the theme of the box. I think that the products that came inside it really match the theme and I think that they’re all worth the try. I’m still really positive about this LF Beauty Box and I’d still recommend subscribing to literally anyone who likes beauty!
The LF Beauty Box is available at Lookfantastic.com for €13,95 per month.
And that is it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and let me know what you think of this month’s LF Beauty Box!
