I feel like I mentioned it a million times already, but one of the products that came inside my last LF Beauty Box was the Korres Body Milk in the scent Bergamot Pear. I instantly fell in love with it and all I wanted was to get the full size, which is exactly what I did. But to my surprise they had a buy one get one free deal going on so I decided to buy another scent as well. It was a difficult choice but I ended up getting the Almond Cherry scented body milk as well. Anyway, I’ve been using them a ton lately (I actually feel like one is already half way gone) which is why I felt today would be a great day to review both of them. If you’re interested in finding out more about these two body milks, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the one I actually didn’t plan on buying, the Korres Almond Cherry Body Milk. It comes in a beautiful tube that is made out of something that feels like rubberised plastic. At least the part where the design is feels like that. It’s very smooth and it feels quite well made. Anyway, the packaging has a really pretty design on it with almonds and cherries everywhere. I really like the colour scheme of it, it’s very autumnal and autumn is my favourite season. In the middle of the tube, well not really the middle but you get the point, is a little white box in which Korres has written down the name of the product in a ton of different languages. It also says that it has 92.3% natural content. The tube comes with 200 ml of body milk.
Having said that, let’s move on to the scent. Usually I don’t really like the scent of cherries, cherry (and raspberry) scented products usually give me headaches. However, I absolutely adore the scent of almonds. So getting this body milk may sound like a pretty bold and unusual choice for me, which it really was, but I’m glad I decided to do it anyways because it turns out that I absolutely love the way this smells.
The Korres Almond Cherry body milk mainly smells like almonds. It’s a very warm and comforting scent and it’s also a very autumnal scent in my opinion. There is also a bit of cherry in the mix, but I feel like the almond scent is dominating in this product, which is something I’m very happy about. The cherry gives the scent a touch of sweetness and fruitiness without making it a sweet or fruity scent all together. It’s a great combination but very unique so I hope this description of the scent makes any sense at all.

On the Lookfantastic website, which is where I bought this product, I found a very brief description of what this product is like and what it’s supposed to do. In other words, we’re going to talk claims right now.
According to Korres this is a creamy, nourishing formula that delivers long-lasting hydration and enhanced softness. Enriched with a host natural ingredients, the velvety body milk is supposed to harness the anti-inflammatory and soothing properties of almond oil, along with active aloe, pro-vitamin B5 and shea butter. Dry skin is supposed to feel supple and nourished after using this.
Overall they’re just trying to say that it’s a velvety body milk with a lot of great ingredients that will make your skin feel hydrated and supple. I can talk for an hour straight about it, but in short I agree with their statements. This body lotion has a very nice texture. It really is a combination between a body lotion and a cream. It’s not as thin as some lotions can be, but it’s not a heavy formula as well. It blends into the skin incredibly easily and a little bit of it goes a very long way.
I also feel that my skin has been feeling a lot smoother and more hydrated after I started using this product. My skin feels moisturised and nourished and that’s a great feeling. If you have very severe dry skin I’m not sure whether it’s enough or not, but for me it works amazingly!
Moving on to the other body milk I’m reviewing today, the Korres Bergamot Pear body milk. I actually already reviewed the little mini one that I received in my beauty box, but since most of you probably haven’t read that post I’m just going to talk about it again.
Like the Almond Cherry body milk this one comes in a gorgeous looking tube. What I do find strange is that the design of the body milk tube doesn’t match with the design of the matching shower gel, but that’s something that doesn’t matter at all. I just wanted to let you guys known in case you’re looking for the shower gel version and you can’t find it.
Anyway, the Bergamot Pear body milk has a very unique scent. I feel like Korres does an amazing job at creating unique scents in general, but this is definitely my favourite so far. What I like about it is that it’s a fresh and sweet scent but it’s not one of those Victoria’s Secret-sweet scents. It’s just very toned down but still very amazing. And to top that all off it also has something warm thrown into the mix to balance out the sweetness.

Claim-wise Korres claims the same thing about all their body milks so there’s nothing new to discuss here. Texture wise I haven’t noticed a ton of difference between the two scents, not a thing actually. When it comes to hydrating the body and keeping my skin supple it’s just as amazing as the Almond Cherry. So in conclusion, when it comes to claims or quality the two body milks are equally as amazing.
Something I do think is worth mentioning about this body milk is that it’s one of those body milks that absorb rather quickly. It obviously does depend on how much you lather onto your skin, but if you use a regular amount the product you applied to your legs will be absorbed by the time you’ve finished massaging the product into your arms.
One last thing I do want to mention before I go ahead and round up the post is the strength of the scent. I’m actually quite picky when it comes to that. I do want my body lotions to be strong enough to linger a bit, but I don’t want them to be that strong that they interfere with my perfume if you get what I mean with that. This body milk luckily doesn’t do that, but it does linger. It doesn’t linger all day, but for a good hour or two after applying it I can still smell it.
Overall these two Korres body milks have surprised me. I mean body milks are amazing in general, but most of the ones I try are great smelling but don’t have anything special to them. These however are quite special. The scents are very unique, Korres makes combinations I’ve never seen before, and quality wise these body milks are amazing. So, if you’re on the hunt for a great new body milk or if you want to pamper someone else with one, you might want to consider these two!
And that’s everything for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and be sure to let me know if you have any experience with the Korres (body) products and if so, let me know how you like them!
I didn’t know the brand, but they sound really nice!! I like that they have a ‘special’ smell
