June was by far one of the busiest months out of my entire life. I just had my last exams and studying for them took a lot, a lot of time. That in combination with work made it almost impossible for me to focus a lot on my blog which is why I haven’t been that active lately. Luckily I passed my tests and I’m back on track now. I did try out a lot of new products throughout the month and ended up falling in love with a lot of them. Today it’s time for my June favourites. If you’re interested in finding out which products I fell in love with, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with some The Ordinary products. I pre-ordered the Coverage foundation a long time ago and it finally arrived to my house. I already tried the Serum foundation which got delivered a little sooner and I loved that quite a lot. This coverage foundation isn’t any different. It’s just as amazing. Of course it can’t compete with my beloved Dior and Chanel foundations, but those are almost 10 times as expensive so that’s not an honest comparison.
I also fell in love with the The Ordinary Salicylic Acid. My skin has been acting up and I desperately needed something that could bring everything back to normal. Of course the fact that my skin looks way better now is not all because of this product, but I do feel like this product has made a huge difference.
Moving on to a product I have been wanting to try for ages. Literally ages. The RCMA No Colour Powder. It has been out there for years and it has always been known as an amazing powder. But it was quite difficult to get your hands on it back in the day. Luckily Beautybay stocks it nowadays which is why I finally managed to buy it. And I’m glad I didn’t give up on trying to get it because it’s more than amazing. First of all you get a ton of powder for a very, very great price. Second of all the powder feels really nice on the skin, it looks natural, it doesn’t cause flashback and it keeps my makeup looking perfect all day. A detailed review is coming up soon!
Along with that powder I bought myself a cream blush. Lately I’ve been quite into cream blush so I figured ‘why not’. I bought the BH Cosmetics Cream Blush in collaboration with Ashley Tisdale in the shade Red Velvet. It looks quite scary in the pot but once blended in it looks absolutely stunning. I really, really like it!
Moving on to two items I received in my LF Beauty Box. First of all this Monuskin Reviving Facial Mist. I already loved the brand Monuskin but I love it even more thanks to this product. It’s a really nice facial mist that feels very refreshing, cooling and just amazing. It’s not the finest mist of all, but it does a great job at making my skin feel fresh and at setting my makeup. I love it a lot!
The other item I fell in love with are these First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads. I’ve always wanted to try something from this brand and I’m more than happy that I finally got the chance because it’s incredible. The pads themselves have a really nice texture going on and the fluid that’s inside has a great effect on my skin. It feels incredible!
Moving on to something more summer related. Since it has been very hot outside (sadly it’s not anymore) I decided I needed some sunscreen for my face. I ended up buying one by Biodermal, the Biodermal Mattifying Sun Fluid with SPF50 because I heard lots of great things about it. And guess what, it’s even better than I expected. Aside from smelling really good and protecting my face from the sun while not making me look super greasy it also acts as a great primer. Who knew?!
Another primer related product I fell in love with this month, or actually: one that I rediscovered, is the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. If this isn’t the most beautiful product in the entire world I literally don’t know what is anymore. This is liquid beauty and I think everyone who loves makeup needs this in their life.
Aside from makeup I’ve bought quite a lot of clothing this month. I’m going to do a haul on that soon because I’m very excited about it, but just for the sake of this post I’m letting you know that I kind of fell in love with clothing. Hollister clothing to be more specific. Their stuff is just so soft, well designed and good looking. I can’t say anything negative about it.
And that’s basically it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which products you have been loving throughout the month of June!
XOXO, Nicole.
