July has come to an end and that means it is time for another monthly favourites post. July has been partially a busy month and overall it was a very hot and humid month. I have been trying out some new products throughout July, which means that I have some interesting things to show you in today’s post. So, if you’re interested in finding out which new finds have become favourites of mine and which products in general have been my favourite throughout the month of July, make sure you continue reading this post!
Let’s start this post off with some skincare products. I recently wrote a post on my new skincare routine. I’ve been using this routine for a while now and thanks to that I have rediscovered and discovered some new favourites. Starting off with two toners. The first one is one I have had for quite some time. It’s the Lush Tea Tree Toner Water. I use this because my skin does have quite a few blemishes and I feel like this does help with that without drying my skin at all. That’s a pretty amazing feeling!
I’ve also been loving this Origins United State Balancing Toner. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been loving it a lot! It’s a very unique toner that both cleanses my skin very well but it also keeps my moisture levels on point. In other words, it helps with my oily skin, but it doesn’t feel drying at all. It also has a bit of a refreshing sensation to it, which is really nice as well.
The last skincare product I want to talk about is the Vichy Normaderm Night Detox. I have been using this for about a year now and I’m loving it a lot! Beforehand I used to be in love with the regular Vichy Normaderm Moisturiser, but this Night Detox version is actually even more amazing if you’re using it as a night time moisturiser. It is very hydrating but it doesn’t make me oily at all, and in addition to that, it also helps with the break-outs!

Moving on to makeup! First of all I have this Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blurring Primer. I bought this not too long ago but I’m already a huge fan of it. It’s the famous clear primer with the golden flecks in it. It’s the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen, the bottle and the product itself look very, very luxurious. But aside from the looks it’s also a genuinely amazing product. It makes my skin feel really smooth, it blurs my pores and it helps my foundation and other makeup to go on much smoother. I’m going to review it very soon, so if you want to read a more in depth review on it, make sure you follow my blog via Bloglovin’ so you won’t miss it!
Another big favourite is this Estée Lauder The Brow Multi-Tasker. A while ago all of my brow products seemed to be empty and I was in a big hurry to get something new. I was ready to experiment with something I had not tried before and that resulted in this product. I bought it in a blonde shade, which is something I wouldn’t usually do since I have brown hair, but it ended up being a really good decision.
The colour of the pencil is absolutely amazing for me and the pencil itself is even better. It has an angled tip which is my favourite kind of tip and it comes with a sponge thingy with some waxy brow powder that sets and fills in the left over parts of your brows. So far, this is definitely one of the best eyebrow products I have ever used! Again, the review will be up very soon!

Then we have a couple of Nars favourites. Recently I decided to order a couple of Nars products just to test them out. I have some experience with Nars, but not an awful lot. One of the things I ended up buying and loving is the Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint. I did read mixed reviews on it, but for me this product works wonders. It makes my skin look so picture-perfect and even. It’s unreal. I think it’s just a stunning product.
Another Nars product I ended up falling in love with very quickly is the Nars Complete Concealer. It’s the jar version of their Radiant Creamy Concealer I believe and it’s just as amazing. It has a really nice and soft texture, which makes it really nice and easy to work with. It’s easy to blend and does have a really nice amount of coverage to it. It brightens up my under eye area and masks the darkness I have going on over there. In addition to that it also stays in place all day long. So in other words: this is a big winner!

Moving on to some blush favourites. This month has been all about peachy blushes for me. It all started with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Vibrant. I hadn’t used it all that much since I got it, but recently it has been a daily pick for me. It adds this really pretty fresh look to my face. A nice and natural flush that makes me look more summery and more healthy. It also has a really nice texture and quality wise it’s just an amazing product. If you are on the hunt for a perfect blush, you should check out these Tarte ones, they are amazing!
The other blush that has stolen my heart throughout the month of July is the Nars Blush in the shade Torrid. I saw that some Nars blushes were slightly discounted on LookFantastic, which resulted in me wanting to try a new shade. For the longest time I thought I was going to order Sin or Oasis, but shockingly enough I did end up going for Torrid. I found that this is a shade I don’t have in my collection and Oasis and Sin are more common shades for me.
Torrid is a very pretty peachy pink colour that does match my recent favourite blush style. It’s fresh but also cute because of the pink tones in it. It does match my skin tone really well and the quality is very impressive. It has the best texture ever and that does mean a lot to me. It is a bit on the extremely pigmented side, so you do have to be careful with the amounts of product you apply!

We have come to the last two favourites of the month. The first one is this Chloé perfume in the See By Chloé scent. I have had this for a couple of years now and it seems like I always go back to it when it becomes summer again. It’s just such a summery and fresh scent. I’m a huge Chloé fan, but this is definitely my favourite to wear when it’s this humid outside!
the last favourite is my Chanel Coco Rouge Shine Lipstick in the shade Boy. This has always been a favourite of mine and it’s actually nearing its end. It’s just the most perfect pinky shade for my skintone. It’s not too dull, it doesn’t make me look like I’m deceased, it actually freshens up my complexion and completes all of my makeup looks.
In addition to that it also has the most amazing and most comfortable texture you could ever imagine which makes it even more amazing. This is just my favourite lipstick on earth and nothing can come between us!
