Oh my, it’s already the end of January. Time is moving so fast! January has been an amazing but also very, very busy month. I had lost of important tests, other important school stuffs, I did a lot of fun things with friends and I have tried out lots of new makeup. Today it’s time to show you guys the products I have been loving the most throughout the month of January. If you’re interested, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with my foundation favourite of the month, the Maxfactor Miracle Match Foundation. Yesterday my review on this foundation went up, so if you’re interested in reading more about it, make sure you check that about. The only thing I’m going to say about it now is that it’s absolutely gorgeous and lovely to work with!
Onto my second favourite of the month. I think that out of all of the favourites of this month this is my favourite favourite (if that makes any sense at all). I’m talking about the Beautyblender. For years I though I’d absolutely hate it, but now that I gave it a chance, there’s no going back. This is hands down the best tool to apply face makeup with. I love it!
Onto another new holy grail, the Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray. This has been one of the most popular setting sprays for years and in December I finally decided to try it out myself as well. Well, all I can say about it is that this is just the best product I have ever tried. If you want your makeup to last and if you want to keep the oil on your skin under control, just use this and you’re absolutely fine. I promise.
Another Urban Decay favourite, or favourites, are the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils. A while ago I got one in the Naked On The Run palette and in the last week of December I decided to order a few more of them. I ordered the Cosmic Set of 5 Glide On Pencils which included 5 gorgeous neutral colours and I’m in love with them. These are the only eye pencils I have ever tried that are creamy and just don’t budge nor smudge. They’re absolutely incredible!
A few days before Christmas Minke emailed me telling me that I won her give away, in which she gave away a MAC lipstick in the popular shade Ruby Woo, which is pretty much the perfect red for Christmas. Therefore I wore it on both the first day of Christmas as well as on the second day of Christmas (yes, we have 2 days of Christmas here) and I fell in love with it. I received so many compliments on it and I personally loved it a lot too. Thank you so much Minke!
While doing some last minute Christmas shopping I came across this gorgeous Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in the shade R.S.V.P. Even though I was actually shopping for somebody else, I decided to buy it anyway. And to be honest, I have no regrets. I’m a huge cream shadow lover and I’ve tried lots of them, but out of all of them, this is one of the best ones I have ever tried. It’s absolutely gorgeous and it stays in place like no other!
For Christmas my mom got me this gorgeous Benefit Life Of The Party makeup kit. Aside from the cream shadow I showed you before I had never tried anything by Benefit, so this kit was very welcome. This kit included a sample sized Porefessional Primer, a sample sized They’re Real Mascara, a sample sized Benetint, a sample of the Dandelion blush and a sample of the Rockateur blush, and to top that off it also comes with 3 eyeshadows.
All of the products in that kit ended up being really amazing, but one of them was just a little extra amazing: the Benefit They’re Real Mascara. I just fell in love with it ever since the first time I tried it. Because I loved it so much I ended up buying the full size of it, which is another favourite of mine. It’s literally the best mascara I have ever used and I definitely think that it is worth every single penny.
My last two favourites are both eyeshadow palettes. The first one is the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette. I got this at the beginning of December and I haven’t stopped loving it since. It’s one of the best eyeshadow palettes ever created and I love using it. The eyeshadows are just so pigmented and gorgeous. If you want to splurge on a palette, I’d definitely recommend going for this one.
The last favourite is the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette. It is my first ever Tarte product and I love it. I have never seen eyeshadows as creamy and rich as these and the colours are just absolutely stunning. I love, love, love it!
And that was it for today. Those were all of the products I have loved using throughout the month of January. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which products you have been loving!
