A pretty long time ago I bought a new shower gel from one of my favourite budget shower gel brands: Isana. It’s sold at Rossmann which is a drugstore located in Germany and Poland (and some other countries) and it’s super affordable. The scent I bought is called Exotic Fruit and today it’s time for me to review it. If you’re interested in finding out more about this product, make sure you keep on reading!
The Isana Exotic Fruit shower gel comes in a relatively wide and small bottle. The bottle is pretty basic and has a very basic label on it. But even though I do think it’s basic, I don’t think it’s boring, ugly or bad. In fact, I do quite like the look of the packaging. I just like that just by looking at it you know what it will smell like, you don’t have to read the words or give it a sniff.
The bottle contains 300 mL and retails for €0,55. I do think that’s an amazing deal. They have quite a wide selection of scents, so there is a lot to choose from and I do think that that’s a big fat plus. The best thing of all is that they keep renewing their collection, so every time you walk into that store you’ll find some new scents (unless you go there everyday obviously).
The scent I chose, Exotic Fruit, is perfect for spring and summer. It’s a very fruity, fresh and sweet scent that immediately wakes you up and gets you excited for the day. I really like it when shower gels are like that. I do really need that from time to time.
This shower gel does make a few claims. Because I’m not amazing at German I don’t know what everything means, but from what I understand it’s supposed to be a soft and moisturising shower gel that does really cleanse your body. Sounds good to me!
Most fresh and fruity shower gels I’ve tried aren’t really that moisturising, but I have to say that I’m quite surprised by how moisturising this bad boy is. It’s not like a body lotion or anything, but it’s definitely not as drying as some other shower gels. I do find that pretty impressive regarding the fact that this little one costs me less than a Euro.
The cleansing part is very true as well. It might sound a little weird to some of you that it’s surprising that a shower gel cleanses your body, but I find that some shower gels just don’t give you that clean feeling after using it. This one luckily isn’t like that and actually makes you feel really clean.
All together I think this Isana Exotic Fruit shower gel is pretty impressive. It’s extremely affordable, probably one of the most affordable shower gels out there, it smells really good and it feels good on the skin. I do highly recommend giving this one as well as the other scents from the collection a try!
The Isana Exotic Fruit Shower Gel is available at Rossmann for €0,55.
That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know which shower gel is your current favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.
