For the longest time I’ve been on the hunt for a great contour powder, but I could never find one that was light enough, ashy enough and just perfect for my skintone. When I went to Inglot a few weeks ago I finally found the powder I was looking for. Because they only had palettes for two powders I decided to buy another powder as well, which ended up being this gorgeous illuminating blush. Today I’m going to review both products. If you’re interested in finding out more about both products, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with just taking a look at the product. The product comes in the classic Inglot packaging which I’ve talked about more than enough on my blogs the past few weeks. It’s classic, professional and simple and I really, really like it. The palette is made for two rectangular powders. What kind of powders you want to put in it is up to you.
What I like about Inglot is that there’s so much choice. They have such a wide variety of products and an insane amount of shades. Even if you’re super pale or darker and you find it hard to find a good shade for you, Inglot has it.
So, let’s dig in to the products. The first product we’re going to take a closer look at today is the sculpting powder. This is the Inglot Sculpting Powder in the shade 505. Shade number 505 is perfect for those of you who have very pale skin and are looking for something with a bit of a neutral to ashy undertone. Something that won’t look orange if you use it to sculpt your face.
This powder is very light. If you prefer a slightly stronger contour you could go for a shade darker, but since I like using sculpting products that are slightly less harsh and therefore slightly easier to work with, number 505 is perfect for me.
The powder is really nice. It’s soft, it applies very evenly and it’s really nice and blendable. I personally like to apply it with either the Zoeva Face Shape brush or a slightly fluffier brush like the one I have from So Eco. I like to apply this product in the hollows of my cheeks, on my temples, on the sides of my forehead and on my jawline. If you apply it there your face will end up looking nice and sculpted in a very natural but gorgeous way.
The other product I chose to buy is one of Inglot’s AMC Blushes in the shade 100. This is a very light blush shade. When I first saw it I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t think it would look good as a blush in any way and I really didn’t intend on buying it. But when the lady at the counter applied in to my cheeks I fell in love.
This blush is very light and has some pretty chunky shimmers to it. I usually prefer darker blushes and matte ones, but for some reason this blush just works for me. It’s a very natural looking blush so it’s perfect if you’re going for a natural day time look and you don’t want your blush to be too out there.
The shimmers in the powder are what makes this blush so special. they are golden and create this gorgeous illuminating effect. It’s almost like a blush and highlighter in one. It adds this fresh and awake look to your complexion and it lights up those cheeks. I really love the way it looks.
Pigmentation wise both powders are absolutely amazing. They have enough pigment, exactly the amount I want them to have, and they are both buildable. The quality of the powders is absolutely incredible. The powders are very smooth and silky and apply really nice and easily.
They are easy to blend, they aren’t blotchy or patchy and they last for quite some time, longer than any other blush would. I’m really impressed by the quality of these powders!
Overall I’m really glad I decided to buy these two powders. I’m absolutely in love with the sculpting powder, I use it almost everyday and I can’t imagine using anything else than that powder anymore. It’s perfect! The blush is really pretty too, it’s way better than I expected it to be and I’m really glad I decided to give it a shot. I highly recommend these two products!
The Inglot Freedom System AMC Blush and Contour Powders are available online and in stores for €30,- total.
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which makeup brand you love!
XOXO, Nicole.
