Back in Poland I went a little nuts on the Inglot department. Two of the things I bought there are these two brow products: the Brow Liner Gel and the Brow Shaping Mascara. I’ve been trying both products out for quite a while now in many different kinds of ways and today it’s finally time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out more about these two products and in seeing the results on my brows, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with discussing the Brow Shaping Mascara. For the longest time I’ve been quite a big fan of eyebrow gels/mascara’s. I really don’t have an explanation for it, it’s kinda weird, but I just really like using brow gels/mascara’s and I don’t go a day without it. So when the sales lady showed me this brow shaping mascara and applied it to my face I just had no choice, I had to buy it.
This Brow Shaping Mascara comes in a few different shades, so aside from shaping your brows it’ll add a bit of colour too to make them appear a bit fuller. The colour I have is number 2 which is the medium shade. It also comes in shade number 1 which is perfect for the blondies out there and in shade number 3 which is perfect for the darker haired girls.
The wand of the mascara is really nice. It’s not too big so it’s easy to work with and the hairs aren’t too fluffy. It’s the perfect wand to work with. Applying it to the brows is quick and easy and I hardly ever mess it up.
The thing I like so much about this brow mascara is that it really makes a difference. It really makes them look fuller, more perfect and it really keeps them in place all day. It’s by far the best eyebrow mascara I’ve tried in my entire life and the day I run out of it I will most certainly repurchase it. It’s amazing!
Onto the other brow product, the Brow Liner Gel. This is a product similar to the Anastasia Brow Pomade. I’ve always wanted to give a product like that a try so that’s exactly what I did. The Inglot Brow Liner Gel comes in this really cute little jar filled with 2 grams of product. That seems like the smallest amount possible, which is pretty much the truth, but since you only need a little tiny bit of it to fill in both of your brows it will last you long enough.
Just like the Brow Shaping Mascara this product comes in a few different shades. The lady at the counter recommended shade number 16 for me which is the perfect shade for people with medium brown hair. Shade number 16 has a cool undertone and matches the colour of my brows perfectly.
The thing with these brow gel products is that it’s very easy to go completely wrong with it. You have to be so careful and light handed if you use it -unless you’re going for that extreme look of course- if you want it to look somewhat natural. But if you get the hang of it, this is one of the prettiest products to use.
The gel itself has a really nice texture. It applies really smoothly and most importantly it applies very evenly, but it’s not too thin and too creamy. It’s creamy enough to apply nice, but it’s not so creamy that it slips and slides around your face all the time. I really like that about it.
And this is what it looks like on my brows. I’m still trying to get the hang of it so it’s not perfect, but I do like the way it looks. It’s easy to create sharp lines with it and if you do make a mistake it’s quite easy to correct. Because it’s a gel and not a pencil or powder it also stays in place way, way better and if you really don’t want to you don’t even have to set it with a brow gel or mascara.
Overall I really like the way my brows look with this product. It does take me a bit longer to fill in my brows when I use this gel compared to when I use a pencil, but it does look really nice and it just doesn’t budge!
Overall I’m such a big fan of these two products. I’m really glad I decided to buy them and give them a try and I love using them. Both products look really pretty on their own but in combination they are even more amazing. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect brow products, this is it!
The Inglot Brow Liner Gel costs €12,- and the Inglot Brow Shaping Mascara €16,-. Both product are available online as well as in stores.
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of these products!
