I have done quite a lot of holy grail posts in the past. All filled with makeup products, or other beauty products, I just couldn’t live without. Because it has been quite a while since I last did one of those posts, and since I have been trying a ton of new products, I decided it might be fun to do an updated one. So, if you’re interested in finding out which items are holy grail material for me, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with some skincare! My first holy grail skincare product is this Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel. To be completely honest with you guys I just purchased this because there was an amazing sale going on (also because I wanted to try it of course) and I’m so glad that I did. This moisturiser makes my skin feel so smooth and soft, it’s incredible. It really is a unique sensation putting this on your skin. If you haven’t found your perfect moisturiser yet, you might want to consider giving this one a try!
Another skincare product I really appreciate is the The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. I have been using this for a while now and out of all the amazing The Ordinary products this is by far my favourite one. This has made the biggest difference in my skin and I love that. Ever since I started using this product my skin has been so smooth and even, like never before. It’s really incredible what a simple product like this can do for your skin!
Onto some foundations. First of all let’s discuss the amazing Diorskin Star foundation. You guys are probably tired of me rambling on and on about this, but it just deserves being talked about. This foundation goes on so incredibly smooth. The finish is stunning and it makes my skin look flawless. I’m in love with this foundation!
Another foundation I really, really love is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream. This has totally changed the game for me. First of all the shade is absolutely perfect for me. Second of all it goes on so incredibly nice. It’s mind-blowing. And to top that all off it also has great coverage and it leaves my skin looking absolutely flawless. If there is one foundation I’d recommend it’d definitely be this one!
Let’s move on to concealer. I’m a concealer junkie and I switch up the concealer I use regularly. I do have lot’s of concealers I absolutely love, but I’m not sure whether or not I can actually call them holy grail material. The only one I’m really sure is a holy grail is the Lancome Long-Lasting Softening Concealer. This stuff has amazing coverage, the shade is perfect for me, it stays in place all day and it looks so natural! It’s the absolute best. It’s a very pricey one, but it’s worth it.
Onto brows. I have two brow products I’m absolutely adore. Both are by Benefit actually. First of all the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. Since I’m almost out I try to use something else a little more often so I can save this for days I really need it, but to be completely honest this is all I want to use. Because of the slanted tip it’s so easy to draw a straight line with it and it just works super quickly and easy. I love it!
The other brow product I really enjoy using is the Benefit Ready, Set, Brow Eyebrow Gel. At first I wasn’t very impressed by it because it was just another clear gel and it felt quite watery, but once I started using it more and more often I discovered it’s actually a lot better than your everyday clear brow gel. It sets the brows perfectly and it keeps them in place all day!
Now that we’ve covered the brows, let’s move onto mascara. I recently posted an article about my top favourite mascara’s so it’s actually a bit extreme to go ahead and talk about it again right now, but for those of you who haven’t read that post: my holy grail mascara is the Lancome Grandiose Mascara. It has a really nice wand and the effect is just wonderful. It makes my lashes look super voluminous and pretty.
My holy grail eyeshadow palette is the Tarte Eyes & Cheeks palette. This is my holy grail palette because I use it everyday. Sometimes I use it in combination with other palettes, sometimes I use it on its own. It’s just a very versatile palette. It contains the perfect natural everyday shades and with this palette you don’t have to worry about messing up your eyeshadow look.
Underneath my eyeshadow I always use the amazing Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. I have talked about this a million times before, I have mentioned it in a million posts before, but because it’s one of the only products I have been using for years and years I think it’s still worth mentioning. It makes every eyeshadow look pop even more and it just adds that perfect shine to the lid.
The next holy grail I wanted to share with you guys is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I know I’m a little late on this one but my lord, it’s absolutely amazing. It is quite pigmented but not in a bad way. It creates the perfect shadow and it sculpts the face in a stunning way. I think this is one of the best bronzers out there.
Another face product I really, really adore is the Dior Nude Air Luminizer. I knew it was stunning when I bought it, but I never could’ve guessed it was going to be this stunning. Seriously if you ever want to splurge on a highlighter, this is the way to go. I’m telling you. It’s absolutely stunning!
My last holy grail product for today is the gorgeous YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick in the shade Beige Blouse. I swatched it in store and I fell in love with it. At that time it was sold out in store so I went home, ordered in and then I fell in love with it. This is the perfect everyday lip shade. If this would be my only lipstick I wouldn’t even hate that. It’s stunning!
And that concludes today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know
which products are your holy grails!
