High-End Beauty I Repurchased

09/05/2019

It’s definitely not a secret that I like luxurious makeup. For me luxurious makeup is a very wide category. I do think that spending over €20 Euro’s on any piece of makeup is a lot, so everything ranging from Benefit to Hourglass fits this category for me. The danger in buying more expensive makeup, is that you might get hooked on them. And once you’re hooked, you have to end up repurchasing it. And that has happened to me a couple of times now. In today’s post I’m sharing with you the high end makeup I have repurchased and the high end makeup I will repurchase when I’m out of them. It might be weird to spend so much time on a topic like that, but the fact that I’d splurge twice on an expensive item does mean a lot to me. So if you want to read what high-end beauty is worth splurging on multiple times for me, make sure you continue reading this post!

The first product I’m showing you guys today is the amazing Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder Translucent. I bought my first tub a couple of months ago and I can’t live without it anymore. Compared to my other powders, this is just a whole new level. It’s such a finely milled powder. And it doesn’t just mattify the skin, it also smoothens it. Another great thing about this powder is the fact that it actually doesn’t look like a lot of powder on your skin. It kind of merges in with your skin, resulting in a very natural looking powdered face.

This amazing Laura Mercier powder isn’t just great at looking natural and smoothening the skin, it also is great at mattifying the skin. And it does that without making the skin too matte in a way it looks fake. Just natural matte. It’s really heaven on your skin and I need this powder in my life. Every single day.

Recently I started to notice that I was having a hard time getting the powder out of the tub. And that was when I realised that my powder is almost gone. To me €43 Euro’s is a lot of money for a setting powder, but it’s that amazing that I decided to repurchase it.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder Translucent – €43

The next product I have repurchased multiple times is the amazing Chanel Dimensions De Chanel Mascara. I got my first tube from my best friend as a Christmas gift and I’ve been in love with it ever since. It’s just the most amazing mascara ever created and I keep going back to it. Whenever I decide to try a different mascara, I can’t wait until I finish it so I can go back to my beloved Dimensions De Chanel. There’s really nothing in the world that comes close to it.

What I love so much about the Chanel Dimensions De Chanel Mascara is the fact that it creates tons of volume and nice and deep black lashes. It is a very longlasting mascara and it holds up in the rain and whatever else you can think of. It’s stunning everyday and it doesn’t take much effort in order for it to look that good. It’s just the perfect mascara for my lashes.

I think that by now I’ve already bought like three or four tubes of it, and I’m definitely not done yet. Whenever Ici Paris has their mascara deal going on, I do wild and order a couple of them so I always have some in my back-up drawer. If you haven’t tried this yet, buy it!

The next luxury makeup product I have to repurchase is the Chanel Coco Rouge Shine Lipstick in Boy. I have used this everyday for such a long time and now it’s next to gone. I’m so attached to this lipstick that there’s no other option than for me to repurchase it. It’s a pain in the ass because it’s super expensive, especially for a small lipstick like this one, but it’s so worth it. It’s all I have been wearing for as long as I can remember. It’s such a pretty, neutral and wearable colour. This needs to be in my collection.

Aside from the fact that it’s super pretty in terms of colour, I also feel like the formula on this lipstick is incredible. It’s super hydrating, nourishing and softening. It’s like a lip balm and lipstick in one. It’s also a super lightweight feeling formula, so if you don’t like the feeling of a heavy lipstick, this is what you’re going to want for the rest of your life.

I have multiple shades from the Coco Rouge Shine collection, but Boy is by far my favourite. It’s just so perfect for my lip- and skincolour. It matches me like no other lipstick ever. I really have to buy another tube of this like right now.

Chanel Coco Rouge Shine Lipstick in Boy – €37

Something I’ve repurchased like a million times already is my favourite ever eyebrow pencil from Benefit. It’s the famous Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. I started off using it in shade number 3, but nowadays I feel like shade number 2 is a much better match for me. It’s very natural and it fits my skin- and haircolour really well. I prefer using it in a shader lighter than I think would match me, so I don’t go overboard with it as quickly as I otherwise would.

The reason why I like this brow pencil so much is because it’s incredibly easy to use. It has a slanted tip, thanks to which you can work really quickly. And it also has a nice formula that is soft enough so you get enough colour pay-off, but it’s nothing too extreme. It’s just a really well formulated eyebrow pencil. Benefit is known for their amazing brow products and this pencil proves it.

I think that by now I’ve gone through more than five pencils. I have tried to use a couple of other ones for a while there, but that didn’t work out for me. Nothing came close to the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in shade number 2. Try it, you’ll get why I love it so much!

Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil – €25,45

Another one of these products that I just keep buying is the world famous Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I know that it’s a very hyped up product, and some might think it sounds too good to be true. But trust me you guys. Everything you hear about this concealer (in a positive way) is 100% true. This concealer is the best concealer I have ever tried. And as a concealer junkie, who has tested a ton of concealers, this is a pretty big statement.

The thing with this concealer is that it has the best formula ever. Like the name already suggests, the formula is super rich and creamy. Because of that it sits on the skin in a very pretty way. It doesn’t look heavy, it doesn’t look flaky and it doesn’t crease. It covers up any imperfections and under eye circle in a split second.

The concealer stays gorgeous throughout the day. It does have a nice radiant finish, keeping it looking fresh all day long. The only downside I can think of, when it comes to this concealer, is the fact that one tube of concealer doesn’t last you all too long.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – €30,45

The last high-end makeup product I’ve repurchased not too long ago is the amazing and well-loved Stila Eyes Are The Window Eyeshadow Palette in Soul. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you know that this palette is everything I use. It’s just the best combination of neutral shades and the quality of the eyeshadows in this palette is just mind-blowing! I don’t use up eyeshadow palettes a lot, but I’d hit pan on so many shades in this palette that I just had to buy a new one in order to be able to create my go-to looks with it again.

This is just a gem for me. A hidden gem, since no one really seems to talk about it these days. I found out about it years ago and ever since then I can’t let go of it. It comes with the most amazing neutral and cool toned eyeshadows, that work great for an everyday work look as well as for an evening look.

They did change up the palette a little bit over the years, but it’s still the same combination of heavenly gorgeous eyeshadows that I will keep on using to the end of times. This palette was made for me, I can feel it. And I have to respect that, by repurchasing it whenever I finish it!

Stila Eyes Are The Window Eyeshadow Palette in Soul – €34,95

And with that being said I think I’ve covered most of my luxury favourites that I have repurchased or will repurchase in the very near future. I always hate it when one of these products is used up because that means I have to splurge on it again. But they are so, so, so worth it, I just have to keep doing it!

Thank you guys so much for reading today’s post. Be sure to let me know if you also have some way too expensive products that you just love too much not to repurchase!

That stila palette is absolutely gorgeous! I can literally only think of a handful of high end products that I repurchase, you’re right anything about €20 is a lot so it has to be really impressive, mine has to include Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick! xx
