I have to say that normally hand creams don’t really bother me. Whenever my hands are really dry I just use something that’s near me or a body lotion or something like that. However, recently I have discovered a couple of amazing hand creams that do interest me and make me want to use hand cream more often. Therefore I decided it might be fun to share four of my favourite hand creams with you today. I don’t really know if that’s actually much fun but I’m going to do it anyway. Anyway, if you are actually interested in reading about which hand creams I think are really amazing, make sure you continue reading this post!
Let’s start off with the first one, the one that got me into this whole hand cream loving situation. This is the Bath & BodyWorks Nourishing Hand Cream in the Vanilla Bean Noel scent. I bought this last summer when I went on vacation to Poland. It was my first time at a Bath & BodyWorks store and this scent really caught my attention. It’s a very warm and Christmassy scent. I know it was summer back when I bought it and at the moment it’s also very hot outside, but I’m always a big fan of Christmas scents. It’s never too early to start getting excited for Christmas, is it?
Anyway, aside from the really amazing scent this hand cream is also very nice in quality. It has a really nice texture. It’s creamy but not to greasy and not too thick. However, it’s not too thin either. It’s just a really easy-to-spread formula which makes this a quick product to use. It also sinks in to the skin rather quickly and it doesn’t leave that annoying greasy layer. The only thing it leaves you with is amazingly soft and comfortable hands!
Bath & BodyWorks Nourishing Hand Cream – €?
Moving on to one I got from Rituals. I remember buying this a while back because I had very good experiences with another one of the Rituals hand creams that I’m going to show you in a minute. This one is called the Rituals Soothing Hand Balm from the Ritual of Ayurveda collection. I do have quite a lot of products from this range and I can tell you, it’s a really, really nice scent. Its a florally, warm yet kind of sweet scent. Not sweet in a childish-sweet-scent kind of way, but it just has a sweet touch to it. I really like it.
It also has this really nice and smooth texture to it. It feels like there is a lot of moisture in it, a bit of oil maybe, and that creates a really nice feeling. While the previous one is a little more creamy feeling, this is a bit more smooth and oil-infused feeling. But just like the Bath & BodyWorks hand cream, this one does sink into the skin rather quickly and it doesn’t leave a greasy layer at all. A little bit of it goes a very long way so this tube will last you for a while!
Rituals Ritual of Ayurveda Soothing Hand Balm – €9,50
Next up is another hand cream by Rituals. This one was a friend from my best friends for my birthday. It was my first Rituals hand cream ever and this is what started the love for Rituals hand creams. This one is from the Ritual of Sakura collection and it’s called the Anti-aging hand balm with SPF15. The fact that there is SPF15 in here is pretty exciting to me because it’s very important to protect your hands from the harmful rays of the sun. However, it is something I do forget when I’m putting on sunscreen. I mean who thinks of putting it on their hands? I know I do forget that almost all the time. Therefore I’m really glad there is a bit of SPF in here.
In terms of the way it feels and works on my hands it’s pretty similar to the other Rituals hand cream I showed you guys just a second ago. It’s also a nice and balmy product that feels like it’s oil-infused. It spreads out very nicely and it does make my hands feel very nice and comfortable. My favourite thing about this hand cream is that I think it actually works in the long term. With lots of hand creams and other products like that I feel like the effect is very minimal and definitely not a long term effect. However, when I use this hand cream in the morning, my hands are still soft and hydrated at night!
Rituals Ritual of Sakura Anti-Aging Hand Balm – €9,50
Soap & Glory Hand Food – £2,50
The last hand cream I wanted to share with you guys is this little guy from Soap & Glory. I bought this on my trip to London with my boyfriend because somehow I desperately wanted to try something from the Soap & Glory body care range and this just really caught my attention. The main reason why it did is because of the incredible smell. All four hand creams in this post smell absolutely incredible, but this is just even better than anyone could ever imagine. It’s very difficult to describe, but I’m certain that if any of you smell this, you get why I’m so excited about it.
Quality wise it’s nice as well. It also has this comfortable, rich texture that spreads out nicely and sinks in quickly. In terms of the results I do have to admit that I like the Rituals hand creams better, but in terms of scent this one definitely wins! So it’s just about what you’re going for!
And that will be it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which hand creams are your current favourites!
