Get Perfect Brows With The Estée Lauder The Brow Multi-Tasker

25/08/2018

A while ago I discovered that pretty much all of my brow pencils were coming to their end. In other words: I needed something new and I needed it quick. Even though I did like the product I already had, I didn’t feel like repurchasing those exact products. Therefore I went on the internet to find something new. Something I hadn’t tried before. After looking for a long, long time I finally made my decision. I ended up buying the Estée Lauder The Brow Multi-Tasker in the shade Blonde. It was a bit of a gamble going for the blonde shade, but I prefer getting something that is too light for my brows rather than too dark. Anyway, I have been using it for over two months now, which means it’s time for me to review this puppy. So, if you’re interested in finding out more about this unique looking brow pencil, make sure you continue reading!

As the name already suggests, this product comes with multiple aspects. It’s not called the Mutli-Tasker for nothing. It actually has three main components. The most important one is the brow pencil itself. It also comes with a sponge with a waxy powder on it and a spoolie to brush through your brows. All in all it’s everything you need in order to create the perfect brow look. I really like how you get all of that in one product here. It’s so handy!

Anyway, let’s start talking about the pencil part of this amazing brow product. As you can tell from the picture this is one of those brow pencils with a slanted tip. Ever since I started using brow pencils like that I just can’t go back anymore. The slanted tip makes it really easy to fill in your brows, draw straight lines and get them to look perfect. Because of it I think it’s easier to not make the brow look too harsh and it’s also super quick and easy to use. So to everyone who has difficulties filling in their brows or is new to it: try pencils with tips like this one!

Aside from the slanted tip, this pencil is amazing. The texture of it is just right. I don’t like it when my brow pencils are too waxy because it makes it slip and slide everywhere as soon as you start sweating or touch it. But it shouldn’t be too hard either, because that would make it difficult to get any product in your actual brows. This pencil is the rest balance between those two things, and even though that seems very obvious, there are very little brow pencils that have this perfect balance if you ask me.

But this pencil isn’t just a pencil. It also comes with the spongy side to it. This sponge is packed with a waxy kind of powder that you can use to finish off the brows and fill in the left over gaps. Because it has a bit of a waxy texture, it also helps when it comes to keeping the brows into place. So overall it’s a bit of a two in one product. It fills in your brows and it sets them at the same time.

I’m a big fan of these kinds of powders for the brows ever since I fell in love with the Maybelline Brow Satin. It’s a type of product that you don’t see a lot these days and to me that’s just strange. I love using this. I like to use it whenever I’m done filling in my brows with powder and I do feel like there are some gabs left that need some filling in, but I want to do it in a natural kind of way. Sometimes adding more pencil can make your brows look over the top, while this powder actually finishes them off in a natural way.

The setting part of this powder is pretty great and I do think it will work for some people, but for me it doesn’t completely replace using a brow gel. I do still like to finish off the brow look with a good brow gel in order for my brows to really stay in place all day. But that’s obviously just a case of personal preference.

As you can tell I’m still -after all these years of doing makeup- no goddess when it comes to filling in my brows. However, this pencil, powder product does make it a lot easier than it would be if I’d be using a different product. I like to brush down my brow hairs, use the pencil to fill in most of my brows and create some straight lines and then I finish off using the powder side of the product. The end result is this. I’m actually very happy with the way it looks. I have struggled a lot with my brows in the past, with them being too strong and too harsh when it comes to the shape, and because of this product I don’t struggle with that anymore at all.

I also love how natural my brows look nowadays. Finding the perfect shade to fill in your brows with is definitely a big challenge. At least it is for me. I know that this isn’t the most perfect colour in the whole entire world for my brows, but so far this is the best I have used. I never thought buying a blonde brow pencil was the right decision for someone with brown hair like me, but it actually works amazing. Thanks to the light shade I never have to worry about my brows coming off too strong or too dark.

Overall I’m really happy with this Estée Lauder The Brow Multi-Tasker. It’s an amazing multi-tasking brow product that really got it all. I don’t know why it’s such an unknown product because quality wise this is literally one of the best brow products I have tried so far. It makes it so easy to fill in your brows and the powder that comes with it really adds a bonus to this product. I love, love, love it and I’ll definitely repurchase it when I’m running out because this is really amazing!

That’s everything for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of this brow pencil and also let me know which brow product is your personal favourite!
