Last week I went on another shopping trip. My mom, best friend and I went to Germany (DM, Rossmann, Kaufland) and to the outlet centre in Roermond. Even though I tried not to spend too much, I did buy a few amazing goodies. Today I’m going to show you what I’ve got. If you’re interested in finding out, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the most boring stuff first. Just to get that out of the way and go to the more exciting stuff. The first things I bought are two shaving gels or foams or whatever it is. I always buy two when I go to Germany because they are very affordable and they work really well.
This time I also got myself some disposable razors. Just to give them a try. I was in need of some new ones so why not get them while I’m there right?!
The Balea Rasier Schaum costs €0,75.
The Balea Razers cost €0,85 per 5.
Next up I bought a small tube of sun screen to take with me on vacation this summer. Because I only have a limited amount of weight I can take with me I decided it’d be smart to bring just a tiny tube. This one has SPF 50 and contains 100 ml, perfect.
I also bought three more Balea deodorants. I always buy these when I’m in Germany because they just work really well and they smell good.
The Balea Sun Dance Sunscreen costs €2,45.
The Balea Deodorants cost €0,55 each.
In Kaufland I came across this hair dye by Schwarzkopf. It was super affordable (way more affordable than it is in the Netherlands) and I really liked the colour. I already reviewed it and showed you guys pictures of the result yesterday, so if you want to see that you’re gonna have to check that out.
I also bought a back up of my favourite Balea Glossy Brown conditioner and I bought a bottle of the Nivea Diamond Shine shampoo. I used to use this back in the day and I decided why not give it another try.
The Schwarzkopf Perfect Mousse costs €3.45.
The Balea Glossy Brown Conditioner costs €1,35.
The Nivea Diamond Shine Shampoo costs €1,95.
Onto two shower gels. First off I bought another shower foam by the brand Bilou. I just really love the look of the packagings and the scents are really nice as well. This time I bought the Cherry Blossom scent which I believe is a limited edition. I really, really love the way it looks!
I also bought a new shower gel by Treacle Moon. It’s called Pretty Rose Hearts and the scent is really similar to the Atlas Mountain Rose scent by The Body Show which I adore. Aside from that the product itself looks really good as well.
The Bilou Shower Foam costs €3,95.
The Treacle Moon Shower Gel costs €3,95.
I also bought two Balea shower gels. I usually buy tons of them, but because I mostly end up never using them I decided to go easy on them this time. I did buy one in the mango scent because I’m just a huge, huge, huge fan of the scent (as well as the taste) of mango.
And I bought a special one in a rhubarb scent. It smells really good and the product itself looks pretty exciting to me. I’ve never tried a not typical Balea shower gel like the mango one before, so I’m curious to see if this one is any good!
The Balea Shower Gel in mango costs €0,55.
The other one costs €0,95.
Next up are these back up shampoo’s and conditioners. I recently discovered how amazing the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay products are so I decided to stock up on them because they are way cheaper in Germany. You even get a 300 ml bottle there instead of 250 ml!
The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo & Conditioner cost €2,95 each.
At Rossmann I bought two more shower gels. I really like the Rossmann own brand Isana and especially their shower gels. Because I almost finished a bottle of the pearl scent I decided to buy a new one and I also got one in the Vitamin & Yoghurt scent. I’m really excited to try that one out!
The Isana Shower Gels cost €0,55 each.
I also bought a few makeup bibs and bobs. First off all I got the Catrice Glam & Doll mascara. I’ve heard so many good things about it which made me really curious. I haven’t used a Catrice mascara in over 5 years so I can’t wait to give it a try and see if it’s actually any good.
I also bought a backup of my beloved Maybelline Brow Satin. First of all because it’s cheaper over there and second of all because it was on sale. Lucky me!
The Catrice Glam & Doll Mascara costs €3,95.
The Maybelline Brow Satin costs €6,28.
I also bought two lipsticks from a limited edition Essence collection. I’m not sure what it is called, but I do believe it’s coming to the Netherlands as well. I though the collection looked really good and because I just simply couldn’t choose between the two shades of lipsticks I decided to just go for both!
The Essence LE Lipsticks cost €2,75 each.
I also bought a little eyeshadow kit by Essence. I usually don’t use Essence eyeshadows because I’m not a fan of the quality, but because the shades in this palette were so pretty I decided to go for it anyway.
The last makeup product I got is this loose powder from a LE Catrice collection. It was on sale now for half its price so I felt like I really needed to get it. I really love using loose powder so something like this always comes in handy!
The Essence Smokey Eyes Set costs €2,75.
The Catrice Loose Powder costs €2,95.
The last two products I got in Germany are these Body Mousses by Balea in a very fresh scent and a tube of Dove Derma Spa body lotion. I really wanted to try some new body lotion like products and these seemed really interesting to me.
The body mousse has such a nice and light texture. It feels really refreshing on the skin and it seemed like the perfect body product for summer. The Dove body lotion has been on my wishlist for ages, so that was an obvious choice for me.
The Balea Body Mousse costs €1,95.
The Dove Derma Spa Body Lotion costs €2,45.
After visiting my favourite German drugstores we ended up going to the outlet centre in Roermond. The first store we went to was the L’Oreal outlet. It was heaven in there. They had so many amazing products and so many great deals. But because I’m saving up for Krakow I held back and only bought these two Maybelline Super Stay 7 Days nail polishes in a mint colour and a light blue colour.
The Maybelline Nail Polishes cost €1,- each.
I also went to the L’Occitane store. I have been wanting to try some of their products ever since I got my boyfriend one of their shower gels. I was in love with the Cherry Blossom scent so I ended up buying a set that included the body lotion of that scent as well as the shower gel. I’m really excited about these two products!
The L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Set costs €25,-.
The last store I went to was The Body Shop. As you guys now I love that store so I ended up getting quite a few nice goodies from there. First of all I got the Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mist. I smelled it, fell in love with it and bought it.
I also bought a few mini’s for my vacation to Poland. I got a mini shower gel in the Amazonian Lilly scent, a mini body lotion in the Indian Night Yasmin scent and back in Germany I also got a mini body lotion by Treacle Moon in the Pretty Rose Hearts scent.
The TBS Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mists costs €5,-.
The TBS Mini’s cost €1,- each.
The Treacle Moon Mini costs €0,95.
And lastly I got two shower gels by The Body Shop. Both of them are in scents I thought I absolutely hated but ended up loving. The first one is in the Wild Argan Oil scent, a very warm and nutty scent and the other one is in the new Pinita Colada scent. A scent I thought I’d disgust but actually smells amazing!
The TBS Shower Gels cost €4,25 each.
And that’s everything I got. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which products you want me to review!
XOXO, Nicole.
