Back in March it was Theme Month here on Nicolished.com. Because of a lack of time I had to cut it off 2 weeks before it ended. In the last week of Theme Month I was supposed to show you guys my foundation collection, which ended up not happened. I already took the pictures so I thought: why not show it now? So, if you’re interested in finding out which foundations I own, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with two very budget proof foundations. The first one is by P2. It’s their Ultra Matte 24 Hours foundation. This foundation is actually waterproof and is super matte, which makes it a great product. Sadly it’s slightly too dark for me, so I can’t use it. But if I have a little tan going on it’s definitely a foundation I’d gravitate towards.
The next foundation is the Catrice Even Skin Tone foundation. I like this one because it’s like super light and it has a really pretty finish. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the consistency is very thick and therefore it takes quite a lot of work and time to blend it in properly.
Next up is the Kiko Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation. I bought it because it was on sale and it looked interesting to me. Well, turns out it’s the worst foundation I’ve ever tried. It does nothing for my skin. It’s impossible to blend, it doesn’t have any coverage and it’s super yellow. Nope, not a good one!
Then we have the Good Afternoon BB cream. I got this from Bornprettystore for a review and I have so say it’s surprisingly good. It’s very light, light enough for me and it does have some nice coverage to it. I like it!
The next foundation is by Makeup Revolution. It’s their Face Base foundation. It’s a good foundation looking at what you pay for it and it comes in lots of shades, but it’s just not one I gravitate towards a lot.
Next up is the E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation. I absolutely love it. It’s one of the best budget foundations out there. It has great coverage, it smells absolutely amazing and the finish is just really pretty. I really, really love using it!
The one next to that is the Manhattan Endless Perfection Makeup Foundation. I bought this one in Germany because it seemed really light, which it is, but it’s just not a really nice foundation. I don’t really like the texture and the way it feels on my skin. Aside from that it’s a pretty decent product.
Onto my three L’Oréal foundations. The first two ones are both from the True Match range. The one on the left is from the old collection and the one in the middle is the renewed one. I personally prefer the old one because it was a lot lighter and the texture felt a lot better, but in general I think the True Match foundation is really amazing.
The other L’Oréal foundation I own is their Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation. This one is absolutely incredible as well. It’s one of my favourite foundations and I use it a lot.
Next are my two Maxfactor foundations. The first one is the Miracle Match foundation. I do really like the way this smells and the way it looks on my skin, but it’s just way too dark for me. I hope I can get my hands on a lighter shade some time soon, cause I do really enjoy using this foundation.
the other Maxfactor foundation I own is the CC Cream. I used up about 2 or 3 tubes of it. I just really like it. It’s one of the best foundations you can get at the drugstore. It has great coverage, has an amazing smell to it and it has a really pretty finish.
The next foundation is the Gosh X-Ceptional Wear foundation. I bought it because Vera Camilla raved about it a lot back in the day and I was really curious to see what the fuzz was about. The thing I like about this foundation is that it’s very light. Aside from that it’s not a very special product. It’s definitely a good foundation, it’s just not super special.
The foundation next to that is the Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse foundation. I do like this foundation, but I do think that it’s very heavy. After a while it gets better, but at first it’s definitely a very, very heavy foundation and I’m not in the mood for that on a daily basis.
Onto one of my favourite foundations: the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation. I have been using the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundations for ages and I love every single version, but the Serum version is definitely my favourite. First of all the scent is absolutely incredible. Second of all it has a gorgeous finish and third of all it feels really nice on the skin.
I think the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundations are just the best ones in the drugstore (I might have said that before, but I’m serious now) and I absolutely love them!
Lastly I have two foundations that I forgot to photograph back when I took the pictures for this post (which is why this picture looks a bit funny). The one on the left is my beloved MAC Mineralize Moisture foundation. It’s the best foundation in my collection so far. It has a great finish, the coverage is really nice and it matches my skin tone perfectly.
The other foundation is the The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream. I haven’t used it a lot yet, but so far it’s an okay product. I’m going to review it soon, so stay tuned for that.
And that concludes today’s post. Those are all of my foundations. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which foundation is your favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.
