Christmas is coming which means all brands are coming out with there holiday collections again. In other words: it’s literally the best time of the year for makeup lovers like myself. Lately I have been shopping around a little bit and I’ve already picked up a few holiday bits and bobs that I wanted to share with you guys today. So, if you’re interested in finding out what I got and therefore what reviews you can expect sometime soon, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the iconic MAC Snowball collection. Every year MAC comes out with a gorgeous festive collection. Last year they had this gorgeous MAC Mariah Carey collection which I absolutely adored, and this year it’s time for MAC Snowball. The collection comes with a ton of products with a gorgeous limited edition packaging. There are lots of sets available as well as some individual products. Because of the gorgeous packagings most products have sold out pretty quickly, especially popular products like highlighter and lipstick, so if you do want to get your hands on something you better be quick!
Anyway, let’s talk about what I bought. First of all I bought the MAC Snowball Face Bag in Peach. I really wanted the highlighter from this collection but the one they sold individually didn’t seem to look as pretty as the one in this set, which is why I decided to buy the set instead. The set comes with a pretty makeup bag, the MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Show Gold and a mini 140SES Synthetic Full Fan Brush. I absolutely love the way everything looks and I honestly can’t wait to start using it!

Moving on to the second item I got from the MAC Snowball collection. This is the MAC Snowball Eye Bag in Smokey Gold. From the moment I saw this little set in those collection preview posts I knew this was the product I definitely wanted to get my hands on. It’s a set that comes with a small makeup bag, the MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara, the Technakohl Liner and a little eyeshadow duo filled with two Extra Dimension Eyeshadows in Just Gleaming and Snowdusk. Both shadows have a really pretty snowflake pattern on them which is really pretty and I also really like the shades. I think this is a gorgeous little set and I can’t wait to play around with these shadows!
The last thing I got from the MAC Snowball collection is the MAC Snowball Eye Compact in Rose Gold. I actually didn’t intend on buying it at first, but once it started to pop up everywhere I realised how beautiful it actually is and I decided I just really wanted to have that too. So I bough it. The MAC Snowball Eye Compact comes with six different shades including two extremely shimmery ones and four normal shadows. I absolutely love the look of this!

Moving on to the next purchase. I don’t really remember how I came across this product, but somewhere on the internet I saw a picture of the Chanel Le Signe Du Lion powder. It immediately caught my attention because of the gorgeous red packaging and the lion head that is printed on the powder and I knew I really wanted to have it. I couldn’t find it anywhere online where I normally shop so I ended up going to the official Chanel webshop and there it was. I immediately decided to order it and well, that’s pretty much what had happened. There are two different shades available, an icy white version and a more champagne colour. Because I prefer the look of champagne highlights I decided to go for that version.
Because I needed to spend €25 more for free shipping (the shipping costs were €10, so it just seemed logic to me to buy something else) I also added a nail polish to my basket. This isn’t from any limited edition or holiday collection, but since I bought it along with the highlighter I figured it would be fun to show to you guys anyway. The colour I bought is called 491 Rose Confidential and it’s just a really pretty rosy pink colour!

In my last beauty haul I already told you guys I also bought a palette from the Tarte Holiday collection, the Tarte Tarteist Trove Collection, which comes with a ton of shadows, a bronzer, blush and highlighter and a mini mascara, liquid lipstick and eyeliner. At that time it hadn’t come in yet, but now I finally have it which is why I thought it might be fun to still show it to you guys in this post so you can have a little sneakpeak of what it looks like!
And that’s everything for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which products you want me to review first and of course if you’ve bought anything from a holiday collection already!
