Hey guys, it’s time for the first theme month post! This week it’s favourites week and I’m starting off with showing you guys my favourites of the month of February. February has passed by pretty slowly to be honest. I know everybody always says the complete opposite, but I felt like February lasted forever. Moving on, February was the month of rediscoveries for me. I barely shopped since I purchased a new camera and a few new equipment stuffs so I didn’t have as much money to spend on makeup than I usually do, which forced me to rediscover some old loves. If you’re interested in finding out what I’ve discovered, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with my shower gel favourites. All three of them are by The Body Shop. I bought them when they were on sale and I fell in love with all three of them. The first one is from the Frosted Plum range, the new Christmas Limited Edition. It’s a very nice and unique scent and I love using it.
The one next to that is from the Glazed Apple Christmas LE. I fell in love with this LE last year, but I didn’t manage to get my hands on the shower gel, so that’s why I bought it this year. This scent is just so incredibly nice, I absolutely love it.
The last shower gel favourite is from the Madagascan Vanilla Flower collection. I am in love with the Atlas Mountain Rose collection (which is from the same range as this one) but I never sniffed the other scents from the range. One day when I decided to do so for a change I fell in love with this one and I am still deeply in love with it. It’s an incredible scent!
Back in December I bought myself a few Rituals products. One of those products was the Tao Yin Calming Bed & Body Mist. I love spraying this on my bed before I go to sleep because of its incredibly nice scent and I do think it helps me with falling asleep, which is quite difficult for me.
Next up is the Lush Love And Light Hand Cream which my boyfriend gave to me for Christmas. This stuff is incredible. First of all it smells just absolutely amazing and second of all it’s super moisturising. I’m in love with it. Lately my hands have been very dry, luckily this stuff manages to save them every single time.
Onto my first rediscovery, the Urban Decay Naked palette. It was my first ever Naked palette and back when I got it I was in love with it, but throughout the years that love faded a little. I bought so many other gorgeous palettes that I just forgot about this one. But lately I’ve been grabbing it a lot again. I actually use it to create my current go to look. It’s just one of the prettiest and best eyeshadow palettes in the world and I’m really glad I rediscovered it again.
Then I have a new mascara favourite. In my previous favourites article I mentioned I fell in love with the Benefit They’re Real mascara. I have to say that that mascara is still my number one favourite and it will be forever, but it’s just a little expensive so I decided to give this slightly more affordable option a try this month and I actually ended up enjoying it. Obviously this Maxfactor Masterpiece mascara isn’t as amazing as the Benefit one, but it is a great product.
Next up is the Vichy Dermablend Translucent Loose Powder. I’ve been using it for ages and this month I all of a sudden started appreciating it more. I don’t know what happened, but I just felt like it deserved some more attention. It’s a really nice transparent powder that mattifies my skin really well and it really fixates my makeup. It’s great!
Then we have another old love, the The Body Shop Shimmer Bauble. I just love using highlighting pearls. They feel so luxurious and they are so pretty. I really love the glow this product adds to my skin and I actually really enjoy using it because of the luxurious feeling it gives me.
Next up are the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blushes in Seductive Pink and Gorgeous Berries. Not too long ago I was in love with these, but for some reason I forgot about them. I just didn’t know they exsisted anymore. At one point I saw them in my stash and decided that I wanted to use that the next morning, and when I did I fell in love with them all over again. These blushes are just absolutely stunning.
The quality is absolutely amazing, they apply really nicely, they aren’t blotchy, they stay in place for quite some time and the colours are just stunning. Yup, these two bad boys are definitely products I’d recommend!
Onto some lipstick favourites. The first one is called Without Your Love and it’s from the Ellie Goulding collection by MAC. I bought this without planning on it and I fell in love with it. It’s literally the perfect everyday pink lipstick for me and I gravitate towards it almost every single day. It’s absolutely stunning.
Another lipstick I’ve been loving is one I got from my best friend. It’s the Clinique High Impact lipstick in the shade RSVPink. It’s so pretty and the texture of this lipstick is so incredible. Charlotte if you’re reading this, thank you so so much. I love it!
My last favourite for this month is the MAC 217 eyeshadow brush with rose golden details from the Ellie Goulding collection. The hairs of this brush are just so soft and silky and this brush applies eyeshadow so nice and easily. It’s definitely a great, great brush!
And those were all of my favourites from the month of February. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which products are your February favourites!
