When it comes to lipstick I’m a big fan of pink. I do like my corals too, but I tend to wear pink a little more often. Because I really like lipstick and because I like pink lipsticks, I thought it’d be a great idea to show you guys my favourite pink lipsticks. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few, but I managed to do it anyway. If you’re interested in finding which pink lipsticks are my absolute favourites, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with a fairly recent and budget proof favourite of mine. It’s the Essence Velvet Matt Lipstick in 07. It’s actually pretty strange that I like this so much, since I’m normally anything but a fan of matt lipstick and ever since I bought my first MAC lipstick, I don’t go for more affordable ones that often anymore, but this is just an exception.
This lipstick surprised me like no other. Because it’s Essence and therefore super affordable I had low expectations, but this lipstick ended up blowing my mind. As most of you probably know matte lipstick tends to be very dry and everything but smooth. I expected this to be like that too, but it ended up being the complete opposite of that. This is the most smooth, velvety, creamy and moisturising matte lipstick I’ve ever tried. I absolutely love it!
Moving on to a little brighter pink lipstick. This is MAC’s Lovelorn. It was my second ever MAC lipstick and I absolutely adore it. I think Lovelorn is a very unique colour. It’s not just a pink or just a bright pink, it has something special to it. It has a bit of a purply undertone which makes it super special and super fun to wear.
I do think that Lovelorn is one of those colours you can’t wear with every look, but when I wear it, I absolutely love the way it looks. It’s definitely one of the prettiest special pink colours I’ve seen so far.
Onto a very pretty nude colour. This is Intense Pink by Maybelline. This is one of the best smelling lipsticks ever. I know everyone says that MAC lipsticks smell like vanilla, but in my opinion they don’t. This lipstick is one that actually smells like vanilla and I really like that about it.
The thing I like about it is that it’s a very wearable colour that looks good with everything, but it’s not super, super basic. Because it’s a little lighter than the usual nude pink it does add something extra to your look and I really like that about it.
Next up is another Maybelline lip product. This isn’t really a lipstick, but because I like it so much I decided to include it in this post anyway. This is the Maybelline Color Drama Lip Crayon in the shade Minimalist. I got this from a fellow blogger called Helen from Beautyill.nl and I’m really glad she gave it to me.
Minimalist is such a pretty basic everyday colour. It goes with every look, it’s simple, it’s easy to work with and it’s a great product for those days you want to layer a few lip colours. I really enjoy using this!
My second last favourite is the L’Oréal Rouge Caresse lipstick in Innocent Pink. I might mention the fact that I love this lipstick range a lot a little too often, but I just do. I think that the L’Oréal Rouge Caresse lipsticks are the best budget proof drugstore lipsticks of all time.
This colour called Innocent Pink is super super pretty. It’s a very nude colour so it’s perfect for everyday wear and I really like wearing a colour like this one to work. I also really like wearing it when I have chapped lips but do want to wear a lipstick because it’s super moisturising and doesn’t accentuate the dry patches.
And next up is my very last favourite: MAC Peach Blossom. The funny thing about this one is that when I first saw it online I was sure it wasn’t a colour for me. I thought it wouldn’t look good on me and therefore I wasn’t really planning on buying it. But not too long later one of the MAC mua’s applied it to my lips and I fell in love with it.
Peach Blossom is the perfect everyday nude colour everyone is looking for. It’s not too bright, it’s not too light, it doesn’t make you look dead and it’s the most comfortable lipstick to wear. I wear it almost every single day and when I run out of it I’m sure I’ll repurchase it!
And that concludes today’s post. Those were 6 of my favourite pink lipsticks. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which pink lipsticks you think are absolutely gorgeous!
