Today’s post is a bit of a different one. I’m actually going to share some of my favourite mugs for autumn. I know that this sounds like a totally ridiculous idea and I get that, but you know. I am a big mug hoarder and I actually have a huge collection which I love. I’m always excited to walk up to my mug cabinet and choose which one I’m going to use today. It makes me happy and I’m sure I’m not alone in this. Therefore I thought it might be fun to share some of my favourite autumnal mugs with you guys. So, if you’re interested in finding out where these adorable mugs are from, make sure you continue reading this post!
Let’s start off with one of my favourite favourites. This is my most recently bought Starbucks mug. I bought it in a Starbucks in Poland, but I’m sure they have it in other countries as well. It’s a very pretty reddish coloured mug with a very classic design. When I’m mug shopping, the main thing I’m looking at is the shape of the mug. I love it when a mug has a more unique shape to it and this one does. It’s not the most crazy mug of all times, but I do think that it has something unique to it. Something different. And I do think that it’s very classic looking.
Another thing I do consider important when buying a mug is its size. I usually do really like to go for big bulky mugs that fit a lot of liquid. This one however is rather small. But because of its adorable design and the perfect autumnal proof colour, I have forgiven it. By the way, this mug is perfect for a cappuccino. It fits perfectly in it!
This next mug is from a store called Wilko. I bought it a couple of years ago when my mom and I went to London together. The store was located in a little shopping centre we came across and I instantly fell in love with it. Like I said, when buying a mug I mainly look at its shape. This mug has just the perfect shape in my opinion. When you first look at it, it might not be that obvious. It might even look pretty basic. But what I love so much about it is the bottom part where it becomes a little wider. I just think that this looks really classic and pretty and I think that that’s one of the main reasons why this belongs in my top favourite mugs.
Another thing I love about it is obviously it’s design. I mean look at it, doesn’t it look absolutely adorable? I love the little dots on it and the colour of all of them. But what I love even more is that they aren’t perfectly round dots. They actually look like they are made with paint and a bit too much water. I think that is a very pretty and artistic effect. So even though most things about this mug are pretty basic, I still think it’s very unique and super pretty! I love, love, love it!
Next up is my absolute favourite out of all of the mugs I’m showing you today. I bought this in Warsaw at a store called Home & You. I had never heard of the store before but it was absolutely incredible. If you love home decoration and all things like that, this store will be your favourite. It was hard to just buy only one thing, but in the end I did it. And I ended up getting the most autumnal look fox mug.
It’s super big and I love the orangy colour. I’m a big fan of huge mugs because they just hold a lot of drink and that means I don’t have to walk to the fridge a million times a day. I know that sounds very lazy, which it is, but be honest. Wouldn’t you prefer a big mug for that reason? Anyway, this mug is very pretty but it’s also quite fragile. I don’t know what happend to it but on the inside it is starting to crack. Therefore I’m not sure how long this mug will be with me, but for the time being I’ll love it to pieces.
Next up is another Polish mug. I bought this at another home store in Warsaw called Homla. This was another super adorable store with lots of mugs, picture frames and whatnot. I didn’t intend on buying this many mugs in Poland, but well. I am very happy with them. And since I’m a mug hoarder, getting more never hurts, right?
Anyway, this mug has a little cat on it and says hallo. At the time I’m writing this I’ve actually just become a huge cat fan. But back when I bought this mug I definitely wasn’t all that crazy about cats. I just thought that this mug was absolutely adorable. The main thing I love about it is the little cat and the way it is coloured in using the pink watercolour paint. I just think this creates such a pretty and artistic effect. This mug however isn’t very large, so it’s one I do need to fill regularly. But because it’s this cute that’s totally okay!
The last mug I wanted to show you guys in today’s post is this adorable colourful owl mug. It’s just like the fox a super big mug that holds a lot of liquid. It has some huge eyes on the front and a very colourful body. I totally love the look of this mug. The only downside is that it is a little damaged at the bottom part and a bit on the back of it. This was already like this when I bought it, but because I was so in love with it I didn’t notice it at that very moment. Anyway, even though it’s a little harmed, I still love it lots.
This mug by the way is from TK Maxx. I love the TK Maxx mug collection, they always have the best and most adorable mugs. The brand of this mug is called Tabletops Gallery. I have never heard of it before, but well. If this ws in their collection I’m sure that it’s an amazing brand. How cute!
All in all I think I have collected some amazing looking and very autumnal mugs. Now I do have to say that I do like to use these mugs all year round, obviously. But these are the main ones I gravitate towards in autumn because they make me feel super autumnal.
That’s it. Those were my favourite autumnal mugs. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and be sure to let me know which mugs are your favourite for the season and what your favourite mug shopping store is!
