Lipbalm is a life necessity to me. I’ve been using it for years now and I just can’t go without it anymore. Especially during the winter I use lipbalm all the time. Because I’m such a fan of lipbalm I have collected quite a few of them over the years. For today’s post I thought it would be fun to show you guys which of my lipbalms I love using the most. So if you’re interested in finding out which lipbalms are my favourite, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with my most obvious favourite, the Maybelline Baby Lips. I’ve been loving the Maybelline Baby Lips since the moment they were available in the Netherlands, and I still do. The Baby Lips are just so fun, colourful and cute, I can’t imagine anyone not loving them. The great thing about them is that besides the fact that they look really good, they work amazingly too.
I have quite a collection of Baby Lips, but my favourites are by far the ones from the Dr. Rescue range. Sadly I only have three or four from that range, only the tinted ones, but they are just amazing. They have a very specific but nice scent to them and they are super moisturising. I hope I’ll be able to get my hands on the clear ones soon!
Next up is a very old favourite. The Rosebud Salve in Minted Rose. I bought this about 5 years ago and I’m still in love with it. It comes in an adorable looking packaging and it smells absolutely amazing. Aside from that it’s also super moisturising and it is a very comfortable product to wear.
The next favourite is by The Body Shop. It’s one of their Born Lippies. I bought this on sale about a year ago and I kinda fell in love with it. The strawberry scent is very sweet and it’s definitely not for everyone, but I love it. The texture of the balm itself is really nice, it’s not as hard as most balms, and it’s very moisturising. It’s definitely a great product and I recommend giving it a try!
Then we have the Carmex lipbalm in strawberry. I bought this in London last year because I heard so many good things about Carmex lipbalms, and I have to say, I agree with all those things. It’s a very nice balm. It’s fluid, unlike all of the other balms I’m showing you today, and it tingles a little bit. It also has a really nice scent to it, it’s not too strawberry-like, but you can scent a bit of it through the minty scent. All together, it’s a great balm!
Next up is the Labello Care & Color lipbalm in Red. I read quite a lot of reviews on it and they made me want to try it out really bad, so I decided to just buy one and give it a try. I have to say I was very impressed. I wasn’t expecting too much of it, but if I would have expected a lot, I wouldn’t have been disappointed either. This is such a creamy and smooth balm, it has great pigmentation and it’s actually very moisturising.
My last favourites are these lipbalms by The Body Shop. They’re all from the Christmas range, so I’m not sure if they’re available at the moment, but next Christmas they will come back, so make sure you keep your eyes open for them. These are my holy grail lipbalms. I adore them. They smell absolutely incredible and they are super moisturising. These are the best and I highly, highly recommend giving them a try!
And that was it. Those were all of my favourite lipbalms at the moment. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which lipbalm you love using the most at this very moment!
XOXO, Nicole.
Je hebt een aardige collectie! Die van de bodyshop zijn heel fijn maar die Rosebud lijkt me ook wel interessant!
