Even though I’m not a big ‘hair’ person, I do have to take care of my hair and I do want it to look good. In order to achieve that I use a quite a few products which I really, really like. In today’s post I’m going to share with you which hair care products I really enjoy using and why. If you’re interested in finding out, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the most important step: shampoo. Because my hair gets greasy really easily, shampoo is an essential step in my hair care routine. I’ve tried so many different shampoo’s, and not one of them was capable of keeping my hair grease free for 24 hours.
But this one, the Syoss Volume Shampoo, this one is different. This one makes my hair shiny, silky, clean, oil free and it also smells really, really good. The reason why this works for me is because it’s free of silicones. I don’t know why that makes such a difference, but for me it just does.
My all time favourite conditioner is the Balea Glossy Braun Conditioner. I first bought it at the DM Drogerie about 2 or 3 years ago and I fell in love with it. It’s not a life changing conditioner, not at all. But the fact that it isn’t like that is what makes me love this so much.
It’s quite a basic conditioner that makes your hair feel silky, glossy and shiny and it accentuates the brown in your hair. It doesn’t make the hair heavy or greasy, but it does make it way easier to comb through it.
Sometimes conditioner on its own doesn’t do enough for me. A few years ago my hair was always greasy and way too moisturiser, but lately my hair, especially the ends, have been quite dry. To fix that I like using one of these two conditioners. Both are by John Frieda.
The Frizz Ease one is really amazing if you have quite frizzy hair (hense the name). It does make the hair less frizzy and it adds a bit of moisture, but it’s not perfect for super dry hair. If your hair is really dry, the Full Repair one is way better. This one is super moisturising and leaves your hair super shiny and soft.
Lastly I wanted to share two of my favourite sprays with you. The first one is the L’Oreal Studio Silk & Gloss Hot Straight spray. This protects your hair from the heat of your straightener and it makes your hair super soft and smooth. It smells really nice and it really does do wonders for my hair.
The other spray is by Naturaltech. This is their Replumping Hair Filler Superactive. Because I have very thin hair volume isn’t a word you could use to describe my hair. If you have the same thing, this spray might be a great option for you. It really adds some volume and thickness to the hair without making it feel greasy or heavy. I really like it!
And that was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which hair care products you like using!
XOXO, Nicole.
