Today’s favourite article is all about my favourite makeup product ever: eyeshadow. Ever since I started doing makeup I’ve been all about the eyeshadow. I don’t why or what it is about it, but I just love it and I love creating different looks with it every single day. Today I’m going to show you which ones are my favourites. If you’re interested in finding that out, make sure you keep on reading!
My first two favourites are both by Inglot. I absolutely love the Inglot eyeshadows. I bought my first palette (the one on the right) back when I was about 14 – 15 and didn’t have much high quality eyeshadows yet. Even though I wasn’t that experienced with those high quality eyeshadows, I knew these were one of the best. These shadows are so insanely pigmented and the texture is just amazing.
What I love about the Inglot eyeshadows is that no matter if it’s a shimmery, metallic or matte colour, all of them are equally as pigmented. I also really like that you get the opportunity to choose the shadows you want in your palette yourself. This way you won’t have to deal with unused shadows. The last reason why I love them so much is because they aren’t crazy expensive, but they are still professional. I really think that the Inglot shadows are one of the best out there, I really do.
Next up are my two Pixi palettes. I’ve forgotten about them for a while, but now that I’ve started using them again I realise why I loved them so much in the first place. The main reason why I love them so much is because the colour selection is just on point. The colours in both palettes are so unique and so perfect and they go really well together.
Another thing I like about them is that the shadows are very pigmented and that the texture is really nice and soft and that the shadows are really easy to blend and to work with in general. These palettes are definitely worth the money.
Next up is the Too Faced Natural Eye palette. I think pretty much everyone who has been into makeup for a while is familiar with this palette and I think most people (especially the ones who own it) know why this is such an amazing palette.
At the moment I have quite a lot of eyeshadow palettes, okay let’s be real I have a ton, but this one has always been and still is in my top 5 favourites. Why? Because the colours in here are absolutely stunning, the shadows in here are perfect for every occasion and the quality is incredible.
Next up are my Stila palettes. I fell in love with Stila about a year ago and this love never really faded. The first two palettes are both from the Eyes Are The Window range. These two palettes are absolutely incredible. They look really elegant and they come with the prettiest eyeshadows ever created (including my all time favourite colour Kitten!). These shadows are so silky and pigmented and they look so pretty on the lids. It’s just a delight to work with these two palettes.
The other palette is from a Christmas gift set. The Sending You Love Set. I absolutely love this palette as well. It’s very compact and comes with everything you need to create the perfect everyday eye look.
Next up are two of my Urban Decay palettes. Urban Decay is by far one of my favourite brands when it comes to eyeshadows and I love pretty much every single one of their palettes that I own, but these two are just a little bit extra amazing than the other ones. The one on the left is the UD Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. This might be the most amazing palette ever created. It comes with neutral colours as well as colourful shades and the pigmentation is just to die for.
The other palette is the original Naked Palette. I currently have the Naked 1, 2 and 3, and this one is definitely my favourite out of the three. The colours are just so perfect for me and if I’m not sure what to do for eyeshadow but I have to look good, this is the palette I gravitate towards the most.
My last favourite is quite an obvious one, it’s the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette. I’ve been in love with Tarte ever since I saw one of their products online, but I was never able to buy them because they weren’t available here. When I finally managed to get my hands on this one I was so happy and I immediately fell in love with it. This is by far the best and the prettiest palette ever created.
And that was everything for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which eyeshadows you love!
