Favourite Cleansing Products

FAve Cleansing Products

Removing your makeup is one of the most important steps in any routine. If you don’t your skin will look awful and you’ll end up with way more blemishes than you have to. Therefore I do really like using skin care products and I’m always on the hunt for other amazing products. Today I’m going to share some of my favourite cleansing products with you. If you’re interested in finding out which products I really like, make sure you keep on reading!

Cleasning Milk

Let’s start off with the first product. This is the Ritzo Sensation Cleansing Milk. I used to hate cleansing milks, but this one is actually really nice. The reason why I used to hate it is because it never removes all of your makeup and it always used to make my skin feel a little nasty. The thing is, it still kinda does that, but if you use a toner or a micellair water or whatever afterwards, it’s totally fine.

The thing I like so much about cleansing milk is that it isn’t as harsh and drying as lots of other cleansing products. It’s very soft and gentle on the skin and therefore perfect for those with somewhat dryer skin.

The reason why I really like this one is because it smells absolutely incredible and it’s just really good as a first step in my skin care routine. I like it a lot!

Face Cleanse

Next up are my top two favourite cleansing products. The first one is the Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel. If you want to get rid of your makeup with just one product: this is it. It has a really nice formula, it feels great on the skin, it isn’t drying but not super moisturising either and it just gets the job done. I love it.

The other one is by The Body Shop. It’s their Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil. I personally would’ve never gone for something like this, but because I read lots of great reviews on it I bought it anyway. Luckily. It’s absolutely incredible. You just put this on your face, rub it in, wash it off and the makeup is gone. All of it. The only down side to it is that you have to make sure your face and hands are dry when you apply it, so if you use this in the shower like I do you have to be very careful.

By the way, there’s also a solid version of the TBS cleanser. I recently purchased it and until now I’ve been loving that a lot as well. So if you’re on the go a lot, you might want to get the solid version, cause the oil is kind of leaky.

Face Wash

Next up is this Garnier Hautklar face wash. I bought it in Germany a long time ago and never really cared for it, until I started using it in the morning. If you’re not a morning person, this is what you need. This face wash is super cooling, it actually makes your skin feel cooler, so therefore it really wakes you up.

Even if you only had a few hours of sleep, this face wash will instantly make you feel fresh and awake and I really love it for that. When it comes to using it at night to remove makeup it does do a great job as well, but it’s even better in the morning in my opinion!

Micellair water and eyemakeup remover

Next up is an eye  makeup remover. It’s the Garnier 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover. This is one of those 2 layered ones. Usually I don’t really like those because they leave that annoying greasy layer on your skin, but this one actually doesn’t. This is the first 2 layer remover I’ve ever tried that just isn’t greasy. And best of all: it removes eye makeup in a second, even waterproof.

The next product might not come as a surprise to you, because I’ve been talking about it a lot for ages. It’s the Bioderma Micellair water. This is just the best micellair water on the market right now and it’s worth every penny. If you are finding  yourself in a situation where you really don’t feel like removing your makeup, but you know you have to, just pop this onto a little cotton pad, wipe it all over your face and you’re good to go girl.

Lush Toner

And my last favourite is the Lush Eau Roma Water toner. This is the first not drying toner I have ever tried, which is why it’s my favourite. I also really like that it comes in a spray bottle because that makes life so much easier. This gets rid of the last bits and pieces of makeup on your skin and make you feel all fresh again. I highly recommend giving it a try!

And that was it for today. Those were all of my favourite cleansing products. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which cleansing products you really like!

XOXO, Nicole.
