For the past few years I’ve been quite a fan of the Essie nail polishes. When I first heard about them I wasn’t too thrilled, but ever since I tried out one, I was obsessed. Now, a while later, I’ve collected quite a few Essie nail polishes. Not a lot, but it’s just a nice little collection. If you’re interested in finding out which Essie nail polishes I own and if you want to see swatches of them, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the first two Essie polishes I ever bought. The glittery one on the left is called Leading Lady and the other one is called She’s Pampered. I bought both of these polishes on sale and I absolutely loved them. I bought them around Christmas time so the glittery polish was perfect for that, and the creamy red colour has been used all year round.
I actually found out that I’ve never reviewed these two, so I don’t have swatches of them. But if you guys are interested, I do want to review them soon and show you what they look like on my nails!
Moving on to the next colour, called Sunset Sneaks. This is one of my favourite peachy red colours. It think it’s a really nice unique basic colour, if that makes any sense. Even though it doesn’t have anything crazy to it, I do think it’s a very unique and special colour and I love wearing it all year round.
Just like all other Essie nail polishes, the quality of the polishes is absolutely amazing. They are very opaque, have a nice finish and they last super long on the nails!
Next up is Peach Daiquiri. I got this one for Christmas from my amazing best friend and I absolutely love it. She knows me so well! This is a very pretty pinky colour with a hint of orange to it. To me this is the perfect summer nail polish.
Even though it’s quite a normal colour, it’s very different from everything else that I own. That orangy tone it has to it is just so pretty and so unique. I really love wearing it. It kinda brightens up my mood.
Next up is my very favourite Essie nail polish. I wear this one all the time. Whether it’s summer, winter, fall, spring, I don’t mind, Peach Side Babe will always be on my nails. This is the world prettiest peachy colour. It, again, has that gorgeous shiny creamy finish and it’s super opaque. If a colour like Peach Side Babe (btw how cute is that name?!) doesn’t make you happy, I’m not sure what would. It’s incredible!
Like I said the quality of the Essie nail polishes is incredible, especially the wearing time. It does depend a bit on the colour, but especially the lighter shades last really long on me. With long I mean about 5 to 7 days. Back in the day when I used Catrice nail polish only (which chipped within 24 hours) I never thought it was possible for a nail polish to last that long on me, but this one really does.
Then we have my newest Essie nail polish. I’m still really sorry for the really ugly nail swatch, I absolutely hate it, but it’s all I have for now. This polish is called Muchi, Muchi and it’s, again, very unique. The unique thing about it is that it could be used as a French manicure colour, as well as a normal nail polish.
If you do want to wear it as a normal nail polish you will have to apply three coats to get it to be as opaque as on the swatch, but two coats is definitely not bad either. I really like this polish!
Next up is my second favourite Essie nail polish. This one is called Splash Of Grenadine. I really love this colour. It’s a semi-light purple colour with a hint of pink to it. It’s unique and absolutely stunning and wearable for every occasion. I think it’s a very versatile colour and in my opinion that’s a very big plus.
The only thing I think is slightly weird when it comes to this polish is that it, unlike literally all other Essie nail polishes, doesn’t have the white letters on it. It does have the brand name Essie written on it, but it’s in glass instead of white letters.
The next nail polish is called Flowerista. This is a deep purple colour that really reminds me of flowers, hense the name Flowerista. It’s a very deep and opaque colour and therefore perfect for the somewhat colder days. During the warmer, more sunnier day’s I don’t wear this colour too often, but once the temperature starts to drop, this is definitely a colour I’m gravitating towards. I really like it!
My last Essie nail polish is called Cocktail Bling. I don’t really know what the name has to do with the colour because for me there is no link, but I do like it. Cocktail Bling is a really pretty greyish blue colour. I think it’s very sophisticated and fancy and I love wearing it for more formal occasions. This is probably my third favourite colour out of all of them!
And that was it for today. Those were all of my Essie nail polishes and the swatches. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which Essie polishes are your favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.

Normaal ben ik niet zo van de oranjetinten in nagellak maar deze vind ik heel mooi! De paarse ook!
